Im not going at midnight.  To me Sleep and getting good grades at school is more important then a videogame. 

After shool im having a bunch of people over to partaaaay..yeah.

First off, I DON'T CARE if FPS started on the PC.  You can now buy a super PC with all of that great graphics crap for about 1000, or you can buy something that matches that power for about 150.  I'd rather spend the 150 then pay my respects to the PC.

I played until the horribly bad library area where i got tired of every 5 feet 54673458964578965896457865 enemies jump out of predictable holes (same as last time, whee!) and attack you. I dont think halo "sucks" per se, i just dont think its that great. The story is decent (only thing that kept me playing it as long as i did), the outdoor maps are very well done from a mappers standpoint. The music is good, and the overall immersiveness is well done in the outdoor maps, with all the dropships flying in and dumping off more stuff. However, the indoor maps are pure absolute TRASH. Your just running by yourself through room after identical room, shooting enemy after enemy. Its pieced together prefab crap, so every single area in a region looks exactly like every single other area in that region. The game is insanely easy, i suppose its difficult on the xbox since you have to use the silly little sticks to aim instead of a real input device like a mouse. I never liked the enemies much. If they didnt have the annoying little low-level guys that make baby-talk noises i might be able to take it more serious. There, an actual intelligent reason why halo is by far NOT the greatest game in the worldz0rz as all the annoying fanboys claim.

ARRG, I agree with you on most of that.  Yes, indoor levels are trash, Library is insanly repitive, all of that.  But you have to realize, almost all of the halo 'fanboys' agree with you on this.

Reason why I love it though, is after you get through that boringness it is made up for with pure awesomeness.  

 I felt like a badass flying into the island on the third map with 30 marines and pwning covenant.  Going out of the silent Cartogrepher, (when the guitar music starts) i had that same exact feeling.  In my mind, thats what makes a great game.
