no it's just stupid that people care that much about a videogame...it's kind of sad...i remember when i was a little kid i would beg for a new hockey stick or skates, not a stupid video game...it'd be kind of fun to go throw stuff at the losers waiting on line cause then all they have to say back is "haha you're just mad cause you have to wait for yours"...sorry i don't go wait on line for 3 hours til midnight for a stupid game -------------

it's kind of nice for kids to interact with other kids in real life and
learn the meaning of pride, teamwork, and friend...and to get out of
the stupid house and stay in shape and do something with
themselves...not sit down for hours playing a stupid game in their
boxes talking to other losers with no lifes or a jobless 40 year old
guy that lives in his mom's basement...i don't know how one could
compare the two

While child interactment is great, and also with adults you can not always be around someone. Hense games come in. In my computer gamming clan for Rainbowsix 3: Ravenshield (We are in first on TWl by the way for you computer geeks out there =D) There are many men who make great amounts of money. One in fact makes over 100,000 dollars a year. Others are kids my age. Our squad ranges from like 13 (me) to like 40 or around there. And as said below, people have their own thing in life. Let them enjoy it. ------------- |

Halo 2 is the same thing as Halo 1. Except for like 5 difrences, same with all the GTA Games, same thing diffrent plot...

If it does effect the child, it wont be harmful. He will become good at something he enjoys (Gaming). Im not saying you should sit on your computer all day, but there is not one single thing wrong with enjoying games or getting hyped up for a newer game. I think it is perfectly fine for a kid to be on part of an online gaming clan, while it is no different to be on a reality squad. ------------- |

Ok, im gonna respond to the second part of the post. Ill let you and sniper work this out on your own. You think kids that go out at 12 to buy halo do nothing else besides play videogames? Generly, most of them have a life and are just going at 12 to talk with other gamers and have a good time. Most of them really arent going for Halo. Halo2 coming out is a nationwide event. People in Germany, England, USA, Canada, are all waiting on the night the game comes out to play it. I guess all of those millions of people are mindless geeks who don't realize the suck of halo. |
