They are a more basic semi automatic/pump rifle marker (IE
Angel). Atleast i believe so, as engine wise. Dual pistols
does sound interesting, in a sort of Counter terrorist type scenario in
some office building or something

I wanted one too for the same reason. Now I have been looking at the Phantom pump gun. They are pretty much the same but...good quality.

| Blackcat Productions is doing a scenario game in the old Fort
Ord housing complex in Cali. they got all kinds of events such as a
pistol duel in a house, and 5 and 10 man entry where u enter a certain
amount of houses eliminating your foe. I'd go just that i live in PA.
on the Pistol thing Warsensor is coming out with a closed bolt
automatic slide pistol(just like the real 9mm) no clue what the price is

They don't use an air supply tank like CO2 or High Pressure Air, no hoppers they use little tubes of paint, you can't go semi because you need to pump inbetween balls. That is all I can think of right now.

Not all the pistols are pump skorpion, check out the delta 68,
sheridan sidearm, zeus, and phantom. I've been eyeing the
Zeus g2 also and all I hear are good things. the paintballs are
loaded via magazines (10 ata a time).
Zeus runs off of 12gram co2 cartridges or optional to hook up to
regular co2 tank or hpa. but you have to buy the bottom line
separate......hell you can even buy a hopper adapter and make
a pistol your main ...but why?...lol
Hope it helps.

I've owned both the Zues and the PT Extreme, and in my opinion, they're novelties.
Pistols are fun to play with, mobile, light, and definitely an intimidation factor, but they just don't carry enough amy for a more than one-on-one encounter. Two pistols would help somewhat, but you would still have to take a fair amount of time to reload another ten shots. Also, because of thier short barrels and simplistic design, their range and accuracy are somewhat limited.
For most people, ten rounds just isn't enough to get them through a firefight without getting bunkered.

I have a Zeus G1 as a backup gun, if my 98c fails I'll still have 11 shots left, it is a very reliable gun with good accuracy. It will give me around 22 to 24 shots for each 12gr co2.

I wanted a pistol so i broke down and bought a pt extreme with a holster and bottom line setup. I bought it about 4 months ago and i havent even used it. I just like knowing i have one if i need it. The pt extreme is a semi with open bolt blow back. It loads the balls thru the top in a 10 round tube. Most pistols use 12g co2 cartridges, but mine is setup with a bottom line to be able to use tanks, preferrably small tanks like 4 oz ones. Thats about all the info i have on the pistol I got. Maybe it helped ya, maybe it didnt?

I own and regularly use the PGP2k at the cave field here against semis. It's a lot of fun having only 10 shots on a pump action pistol. I'm faster on the field with it, and can creep around the large pillars much tighter. If you have the spare cash and want to try it, it's built like a tank and I have had no maintainence problems at all.
You also get some pretty funny looks at the field.

Here's a suggestion: If and when you do decide to play with dual pistols, make sure they're not pumps. Otherwise, have fun!

The only logical reason for buying a paint pistol is for fun or if u are big on scenario play and need a small, quick backup. It would be great to have it in your belt in case you have a ball break or run out of CO2, etc and need quick easy cover. Other than that don't waste your money unless you have plenty to spare

I own a play with regularly a Palmer Squall. It is pistol version of the PPS Typhoon, it uses the same parts except the rock lpr is placed on the right hand side of the body to make room for the 12 grams. It has 10 rnd clip on top, and fires from a closed bolt position. It closed bolt just Like PPS Typhoons or Blazers, and WGP Cockers. The reason I use this gun regularly is that it is amazingly more accurate than my Cocker with the same range as my cocker.
I also own a delta .68 it fires from the open bolt position, runs off 12grams and isn't very efficient. The reason I say that it isn't very efficient is that I can get about 25 shots off a 12grm at about 210 FPS with my Squall I can get about 25 shots off a 12grm at about 290 FPS. The delta is ok seeing as it is significantly less expensive than the Squall. I wouldn't play regularly with a delta .68 though, it's ok in a tight spot if you are using asa a back up only.
I will say one thing about playing with my Squall, it has improved my game dramitically by forcing me to move more and to make my shots count, which has spilled over into how I play when I use my cocker too.
