i tried just putting .txt files on, that didnt work, they got cut off, so i stopped looking. but then i went on the Ipodhacks forums, and Behold! the utility for ipod book reading!

Well crap. Its not really working for me. I wanted to test it so i just
went to a lyric site and copy pasted soem lyrics into a wordpad
document, so then i pressed browse on the page and it sais "
Filetype must be plain text (with .txt extension mostly)!"

okay, just right click on the desktop, new, text document. make sure the extension is .txt

hehe, I'd wait until they get movie playing capability, or not, or you could just buy a 3g and read and listen to music.  or with a 5g, do all that, and look at pics.
