****PRIZE 3 CASES OF DRAXXUS BLAZE PAINTBALLS****
What's up guys? I haven't been around much due to work and the teams. I have another logo contest for you guys. This logo is for our team. I have a D2 X-Ball team TPA Revolution and need a logo and jersey design for it. You guys did so well with the store logo I thought I'd drop by and see if you can help with the logo and jersey. The name of the team is TPA Revolution. It needs to be simple but powerful. I would like it to be red and black if possible. Some kind of shape might be suggested. (ie circle, square, star..) Entry due by Nov 22nd. entry number two. the skull thing was cool but too much...too complex. Still more coming, I'm sure.
 would the text look better if it didn't go so far around? As in, readability. that's no problem to modify.

Yeah, the first thing I thought of when I heard revolution was liek someone raising their fist, so I figured it went well with it.

come on, photoshop filters? I've helped design two team jerseys so far that have been printed and used...I know what can be printed, what will look good, what is visible and readable. throwing a drop shadow, inner glow, or a fade/gradient on a picture looks nifty but it'll print up like YUCK. this guy knows what he is talking about. But, I was just one step ahead of that. On PbEffect I mentioned something along the lines of this. All the images can be very easily simplified. I didnt use very many filters... Maybe like a bevel or 2, but those dont HAVE to stay, they can easily be subsituted with black and white outlines and the like. I say go all out, and then simplify it down. It's like any presentation, you need an attention getter |

| Oh and one other thing.. I don't know for sure, but I think these are being made by Pb Fanatics. They're not just some silk screened logos, they are actually making a custom jersey. Think back to (Oh I know it was so long ago) like 2000 when JT made the bubble jerseys. they used fades to make the bubbles look 3D, and that was almost 5 years ago, so I'm more than positive someone could make use a jersey using fades quite easily, and cheaply in 2004/2005.... |

Here you are. I tried two flavors of header text and also seperating the fist from the text a little, but I think with the black fist/white text, the seperation isn't necessary.

It's time I get into the fray on this... What are the restrictions as far as complexity? Does this need to be base colors in order to be easy to print? I like to use a lot of textures and bevels. they are both great but i say that kiolia wins...i like whattheflarks first design better than his second and both of kiolias designs are good but i think the first is better as well. my vote goes for kiolia b/c i saw soo many things with a fist in it on that otehr site and i think kiolias is more original. ------------- Rockin' the Ironman Intimidator.
