Well, I could see why:

A professional paint job, especcially a camo job could cost as much as $125 (I knowfrom experience), the stock could be one of the new six position stocks (though i doubt it), which run for $80-$100, and scope is could be more than $100 if its a name brand (winchester, Loepold, etc...).

But more importantly, its that fact that other people don't think it through. They see the ULTIMATE SNIPER SETUP and they dont bother figuring out how much it would cost to get all the parts by themselves. Thats part of the reason why ebay is so succesful. Also: "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

But, yeah, I personaly wouldn't pay more than $250 for it.

Hey guess what, go shoot yourself

And I know I am supposed to. But if so, there are 999999 threads on  markers like this one!!.. ...

Like the " check out this cocker" - yea the one from PBnation.. hmm no one complained about that.. yea..you have a useless, and pathetic life  congrats.
---------------------^ ur done.. shhhh-------

And I know how much a paintjob would be too.... but look at it.. if that is a professional paintjob.. who would pay for it after seeing it.. Thats all "custom" work from this guy..

And I agree.. i wouldnt even think about wasting money like that off of e-bay. But I wish I would have gotten that $50 angel that got sold 1 1/2 years ago..

Man, if you look closely at the marker, it looks like its been beat against a tree or something.

I understand your wondering why someone would think that they could get that much, but the current bid of $475 is a starting bid, and the marker has 0 bidders. I seriously doubt that it will get any bidders at all...

This guy is being a little overzealous in what he thinks he can get for the marker, but if you watch ebay on a regular basis you will find that 98 Customs with a crap camo paintjob, cheap scope, stock, and bipod regularly go for almost $400, and the main reason is because it is described as "ultimate sniper paintball gun".

The truth is that most of the people buying guns on ebay are newbs who have never played before, and therefore know nothing about the sport, or what things are worth, they only know that "sniper" sounds kewl, and they think that these markers will be better than anything else on the field.

Due to this fact, several people have begun cranking out these "ulimate sniper markers" on a regular basis, the fact remains that if people are dumb enough to waste their money, people will sell to them in bulk.

How is that a professional paintjob, its obviously not. The big scope doesnt come with it, just a small 10 dollar scope. The gun itself is probably worth around 230 id say.

Maybe you should make one and sell it off and see if a meager profit was worth the time.

Also buy it now prices are usually always unusually high. A way to get a quick sale at a high price if someone wants it that badly.
