well as all the canadians on this forum know tomarrow is x-mass... so uh... as the title says

Yeah, I hardly had time to squeeze in all my shopping for christmas.
I find it so dumb when people get all offended when you spell it x-mas. It's just a shorter form, calm down. It could be just as offensive to someone who doesnt like christ. |

Actually, it's not a lie.. just a misconception that Christmas when we celebrate it is the actual date that Jesus was born on.
It's just when we celebrate, because it's convenient to do so now that whoever started the whole 12/25 bit got it all popular. Christmas is a celebration of the birth, not a 'birthday' so to speak. At least, so I gather. I've read things saying that Jesus was born in April, and other things insisting he was in fact born in December. Maybe it was 12/25 that he was born on.. I don't know. I'll just keep celebrating it then and find out when I die. ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.
