Smitty, I thought you gave up woodsball and became a speedballer?

Well anyway, get the uni-mount as suggested earlier, unless you want all that woodsball gear that most woodsball players carry on their marker and on themselves or like what I have.

A stock is not really needed when using a remote line in the woods and thats only if one wants his/her marker to be a milsim M4, MP5, etc., all a person would need is strong arms and shoulders to handle the recoil of a marker which isnt much and its more like a nudge than a kick when fired (remember we have paintball markers not real firearms), but if you do decide on gettin a stock I would suggest a gas-thru stock, theyre easier to install, theres no need to take the marker apart, jus simply remove the asa from the bottom put the gas-thru inbetween the asa and the bottom of the grip and then bolt them all together and yer done and yeah wit the remote line the marker becomes alot lighter and can help make a person run a lil faster compared wit a tank attached to the asa...infact I saw a pic in either in PB2X or FaceFull a few months back, it showed a player in a speedball match, he dove behind a bunker to avoid gettin hit (of course) and when he landed, the tank and the asa snapped off from where it was bolted to the bottom of the pistol grip (not a very pretty sight), when I saw that pic, I said to myself "whoa, its a good thing I use a remote line, thats something I dont want to get myself into" and the samething can happen in woodsball and Im pretty sure that someone has done it, but doesnt want to really mention it jus to save face (I dont blame him).

And smitty if you do decide on gettin a remote line, I suggest you get a tank pouch from Ronin Gear inwhich it can be strapped to yer leg (left or right thigh like a tactical gun holster) and yer pant belt and its alot better than having a harness wit a tank thats mounted in the middle inbetween the pods, also wit the pouch, you wouldnt need to reach back to turn the on & off valve on the tank, you can simply reach down to turn the valve on the tank wit no problems at all...

Heres an example...look at my sig smitty, I use that Ronin Gear pouch (upgrading the pouch soon to fit any size HPA tank from cops911.com fer $20) and wit the pouch its actually alot more comfortable and safer on my leg than on my lower back.

Personaly i prefer a remote after 26 hours of play your arm will thank you. speed ball is more about a short burst of energy so the added waight if a tank realy isent that much of a problem. also speedball players tend to get into some prity strange positions and a tank would realy mess up your back if you fell on it.

however us senario and woods ball guys we play for longer periods, and genorealy have a moment to get into a good comfertable position. so the added waight on our arms is a real problem, but the tank on our back realy dosent bother us. thats why you never see a sling on a speed ball gun but you see them all the time in senario and woods ball.

as for the stock if you play speed ball i realy dont recomend it. but we woodsballers usualy take longer shots and use accuracy over volume at distance. if you play in the woods and you are a longballer or have any hunting experiance you will feel more at home with a stock. a good stock like the car 6 position, that way you can change the length as the situation changes. for instance if you are in a binch of buildings the shortest position is best but if you going for that realy long ahot and done want to take more than 3 shots the longest comfertable position is best.

well thats all my opinion but if you do get a remote get a good stiff coiled remote. they tend not to get tankled in its self and they hug your body better than the steel braided.
