the all American is a good barrel but if you want an accurate barrel get a flatline.

He means learn how to search. The quietest barrel doesn't really matter, any shot will be heard.

Not true.  My buddy had a vintage (12 yr old marker) or now labeled "classic" 68Automag with a ported barrel.  I never hear his shots, just the paintballs zinging around me.  I can never tell where he's firing from.  By stark contrast, I can hear where the other guys are shooting from with their Spyders, Pirahnas and 98s.  All of them have ported barrels as well.  J&Js, Smart Parts and Stiffis.

J+J is the the quietest barrel that i own right now. I had a 14in 32Deg. Whisper barrel, and it was relativly quiet.. but anything all american, or J+J is accurate and quiet... But barrels arent all that can do it, get a closed bolt gun, to quite the gun, the gun makes 98% of the noise (springs..pins..etc..) the 2% is the air out the barrel. And the hopper also can amplify the sound of the gun... thats excess air goining into a sealed space.. i dont know how true it is with the A-5..cause i dont have one.. i know how it is with the 98C...

There is no "most accurate barrel". Good paint to barrel match is what really matters. Example, an All American with a poor paint to barrel match will not shoot as well as even a CMI Thunderpig with a good match. Here's the real question to ask:

"I'm looking for a barrel in X price range. What barrel in X price range is high quality?"

So, what price range you looking at? Can't give you an informed answer without filling in that blank.

and just for referance, u can see if paint is good for the barrel if it gets stuck in the barrel but when u blow on the end it comes out, if it rolls out when droped in the paint is too small, and if it gets stuck and CANT be blown out then the piant is too big

this helps at the field or w/e

Right, even though X is the most common variable used in math and other applications. And I was only talking about one variable, cost level.
Anyhoo, we need that price range!
