HPA= high pressure air AKA nitrogen. LP= Low pressure. -------------  |

HPA stands for high pressure air (nitrogen or compressed air). HPA is just like co2 but it is alot more consistant because it is in a gas all the time unlike co2 which is in a liquid in the tank and is sopposed to turn into a gas when it gets in the gun. This does not always happen espicially during rapid fire or cold weather. The liquid then enters the gun and it causes spikes and drops in volocity. Commpressed air and nitrogen dont have to turn into a liquid so the do not spike.HPA tanks come in differnt sizes and pressures. The bigger the size and more psi the more shots you will get. HPA is a very wise thing to buy but if you cant afford atleast try to buy a antisyphon tank for your co2 tank. This prevents most of the liquid from entering your gun LP stands for low pressure and lowers the operating pressure of your gun. Mostly it makes it more efficiant on gas.
