Who says AGD can't make electros? They stopped voluntarily, and I suspect you'll see them starting up again. That picture is meant to illustrate the versatility of the various rails on the Tac-One body. The Tac-One doesn't come with any of that stuff. It looks just like any other mag, except the mainbody has attachment possibilities. |

Where have you been the last two years? Smart Parts sued AGD and they made the agreement that AGD can no longer make any electro mags in any way. They did not stop making them voluntarily they where forced to stop making them because of a law suit. -------------

Yes, they did stop voluntarily. Smart Parts sued AGD, but AGD had already decided to stop making the E-mag and X-mag because they were becoming too expensive to make.
And ADG is probably the LEAST money hungry paintball company I know of. True, true. If it were my sytle, I would have traded my timmy for an x-mag, but the JD fly suited me more. The configurability of the x-mag is unmatched. The costs of the body milling to allow for the removeable breach must be high. |

is that why Tom Kaye, the owner of AGD, has said that smart parts was not the reason they stopped making electros... yeah... its a killer gun actually.. x-valve, intelliframe... slap a ult kit on there and the trigger will be walkable. |

The TAC-1 may be the ugliest automag, but automags are definitely the
nicer looking guns out there (including the TAC-1). For example,
examine exhibit A: I think Helen Keller or Ray Charles could design something better. |

I agree I would much rather have that Timmy then the tac-one Mag. The Timmy is faster, lighter and has kool milling. That Mag just looks like a it was just picked up out of a junk yard. -------------

for starters jjclown23, shut up we do not need morons spamming every thread with worthless comments that have no meaning behind them. secondly that gun is made for scenario players, so when you say it doesnt "need all that crap on it" or its a "disgrace to paintball" look at the 9 billion tippmann a5's and 98 customs that have m4 or m16 pieces glued all over the place that you all drool over. thirdly, as previously mentioned all mag chopping problems stemmed from 3 problems, non parabolic feed plugs, short stroking, and shooting too fast for your hopper, of those one is the guns "fault" and it was $3 piece of plastic. and on a final note, smart parts did not sue agd, agd stopped making the emag because of the success of its rt custom package, and he felt the e-mag is "obsolete", which if you ever used one you would know it is not, and now he is waiting for some type of conclusion to the smart parts issue before moving on. the reason why tom kaye makes guns for scenario players now instead of tournament players is because of responses like some of the people in this thread, "this guns ugly it must suck" "durrr, i can change one word in mag and make it reference to a sexual orientation, in a non-living object." ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

I really like theTac one,. It's simple and clean, not cluttered with useless crap, pointless ugly milling and other crud. If you play woods or night then a red dot or NV sights are the way to go. If not than **edited**. The gun doesn't need to be "speedballed up" (ie: made ghey) it's just fine the way it is. I love mech guns and if I ever ditch my A5 then this is where I'm goin. this forum isn't about tippmans anymore. It's just a sad collection. Go out and find better forums,. they do exist. Trust me!

Ah..the last time I checked I didn't have useless scopes and flashlights on either one of my paintball guns I own. The only thing I have on my Timmy other then the stock gun is a loader and the M98 is pretty much all stock except for a new barrel and an X-chamber so I'm not sure how you can say that my gun is cluttered with useless stuff like the Tac-one. -------------

You obvioulsy don't know what your talking about. Have a look at the picture its from AGD. That stuff does come stock and AGD makes it not WGP. -------------

Haha. Sorry but I think Tom might have a different story for ya. He stoped production on the e/x mag for a couple reasons, and one of them was to PREVENT a lawsuit! He wasn't sued by Smart Parts... but he knew it could/would happen to he just did what would naturally happen any ways to prevent court time and costs. Not to mention no worry about paying a settlement fee! Not sure where your two years have been but definately in the wrong spot.
