OK... I'm a normal person, and I know the difference. You sound like you follow DARE a bit to much and just blind yourself to everything. Pot is Marijuana. Marijuana is a green plant which is smoked in leaf form. Cocaine is a white powder which is inhaled (in most cases). Crack is solidified cocaine, which is smoked. If you smoke "rocks", you smoke cocaine. You don't even have to be a drug expert to know things like that... I knew that stuff WAY before I ever smoked marijuana. I'm not a "drug expert," I'm just someone who doesn't have his head up his ass too far to know facts about the REAL WORLD. -------------

Good for you. I said basically the exact same thing about 6 months ago (only I wasn't so blatantly close-minded and ridiculously opposed to it). So far all your posts in this thread have been "OGM, DRUGZ ARE T3H BADZ0RZ! D.A.R.E SEZ SO, IT MUST BE TRUE!" Marijuana is FAR safer than alcohol. I have no idea why it's still illegal, but the fact that it's illegal does not mean that it's worse than alcohol. Tobacco is legal, and it's WAY worse for your health than pot. You cannout overdose on marijuana, you CAN overdose on alcohol. No matter what your anti-drug commercials tell you, marijuana is NOT addictive. Tobacco and alcohol are. Granted, it's not like it's necessarily beneficial to your health (though it can be in certain circumstances), it's also not like if you smoke it you're going to turn into Satan's spawn and then die 20 minutes later. I've never snorted anything, but I HAVE smoked. I keep myself to pot because it IS a lot safer than just about any other drug (including tobacco and alcohol). You are just a tool for the government. Looks like DARE and all those Ad-Council ads got to SOMEONE... -------------

Marijuana is not a physically addictive drug. It may lead to a mental addiction but that depends on the person's discipline and stability. As for the effects of smoking weed.....short term memory loss, after prolonged exposure brain cell damage will contribute to this. And like alcohol a person's reaction rate and motor functions are alot slower. Focussing can become an issue. However, you don't hear of someone being smoked up going to school/work and shooting the place up. The fights and stabbings or shootings outside a nightclub aren't about weed or under the influence of JUST weed. most of the situations are due to some other drug or combination of other drugs and weed. Potheads are too lazy to get into a fight ... they'll threaten ya but thats as far as motivation gets...lol
I personally prefer to smoke weed as opposed to getting hooked on man made/processed drugs like LSD, crack excstasy or any other junk. At least weed grows from the earth and , for the most part is natural. It can be relaxing and meditative. Some jackass in the fifties along with politicians made a movie called "refer madness" that has forever tainted public opinion on it. It was the movie the started the whole anti marijuana/hemp movement in washington. God forbid we find a crop that was cheaper to grow and make products from (hemp). why that would compromise alll those great cotton growers and people they would underpay to work the fields. 
JJclown.....its ok to be objective of things but at least be informed about your subject. I truly am sorry for your friend who OD on whatever it was. But responsibility starts from within. .. just my $0.02 I know it long response but for you morons who complain about this topic being here...get over it ...only those who can associate to this situation are responding and giving feedback. It DOES not put a black eye on paintball. we who smoke weed or drink alcohol or drink coffee or smoke cigarettes....etc...collectively make this sport and we all have our own vice that, from what I see never really make it into the public eye or marketing. Dont ferget people that a joint can be laced wit another drug such as PCP or Meth and Cocaine which it can be very addictive and extremely dangerous to someones health....Ive had friends who smoked wit PCP, etc. it takes months to recover from it and I have heard of other people that have died from smoking a laced joint. A plain ol joint wont kill, but a laced one will.

Nicotine is as addicting in most cases as cocaine. one or two lines of cocaine and ur going to feel withdrawl(sp). Some thing with nicotine one ciggeret or one pinch of dip and u will feel withdrawl.( i no that feeling all to well) I no kids who smoked weed for years everyday after school and one day stopped. He was fine. dont no if this has anything to do with this topic but its just my info and a story

I'm pretty sure you can OD on extacy. I'm surprised no one who knows jjclown hasn't slipped ecstacy, one of the more common date rape drugs, in any of his drugs and then took him far away and killed him. ------------- I need to find smaller pictures for my profile. |

I dont think you can overdose on ectasy, the problems you always here about at the raves is that they get dehydrated. Never heard of anyone ODing on it, dying of hydration well on it is a little more common. -------------

i seen some kids freaking when they got some super strong pot and thought it was laced because there was crysels on it. i had a hard time geting them to realize that strain is high in THC and thats what the crysels are |

Because there are people that will do jus that to make a profit, liquid form drugs can be dried and still be potent once inside the human body....fer instance, LSD in liquid form can be applied and dried on a piece of paper or on a sugar cube (60's method)....this I know from experience, I use to be an acid head back in the late 80's and early 90's and it gave me the best high compared to other drugs on the streets. And jus to let you know as well, I even smoked Black Hash from Turkey....5 times potent than any kind of marijuana, but very expensive. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!
