check it out....I removed the front grip, and replaced it with the original end cap for a cleaner look. I figured i didn't need that grip, since the Flatline shroud had a rifle grip which I use more anyway. Lemme know what you think.

well its understnadable, and i give you a 10/10 for creativity, since I have never seen anyone with that before. But I dont see why you didnt leave it open. It would have been cooler to mill down the front grooves of the handle area, or completly mill it off, since I have hear a lot about it but have never seen it before.

Some people need to learn how to focus cameras.

But you get props for just thinking that up.

As for removed front grips, ask and ye shall receive.

Well that's strange. I have never found a digital camera that didn't have a close-up feature. Even most film cameras come with a close-up feature now. How old is your camera?

Sounds like you have one of those $20 digital cameras that Circuit City is advertizing....they hardly have any type of features on those POS's.

Well it zooms in and stuff, but it doesn't really take good closeup pictures. It's brand-new, an Olympus Camedia D-395.

How many times did you take a close up pic before you decided it was the right one to use.

No, most likely you just need to get more familiar with your camera or take the shot from a bit further back.

Eh...as said before, I tihnk you should have just taken off the front grip. Or just left the bottom of that thing open, it's simply not worth the time and effort for the conversion you made.

very nice. i guess it would be kinda nice if you had the flatline. then you can hang on to the shroud. good job none the less.

i'm thinking of ways to make this better...milling off the front grip is a possiblity, but i don't think I could do that myself.
