I ws watching Discoveries This Week on the Discovery Channel (My first time ever watched it) but they said that an explorer was doing some sonar off of the Itilian coast and found the city of Atlantis. It fits Plato's discription almost exactly from the lenght of the river to the hight of the city walls. I'm not talking about the magical Disney version of Atlantis with flying crap, I'm talking about a city that was flooded and is now a mile under water. I don't know how reliable this show is, but it looked good to me. Meh? I dont know why Atlantis is so special... All that happend is a
EarthQuake Happend A Ripped Atlantis off a Penisula(SP) then a
Tsunami(sp) happend and it Barried it... God must of
wanted to Get rid of them... they probably foudn the truth...

Use Comman Sense and Look around at now day Weather.... EarthQuakes were known to be around Europe around that time, and Italy was homw to one of the Worst Recorded Volcanic Eruptions ever(Loss of life anyway), and hopefully your Smart enough to Figure that Volcano's Trigger EarthQuakes... Also a Tsunami could come from anywhere... Maybe the moon sliped in Orbit, and Came a bit to close and Caused a Massive Ocean Wave.... But I still think JFK's Death, Hitler, and Atlantis are connected some how... -------------

For all we know, it is just some underwater mountains. ^ There are probably hundreds of City's/Stettlements like Atlantis but
they just werent recorded, or were to stupid for anyone to Care about
it... Ya nenver know in under the San Fransisco Bay may be the
Answer's were looking for lifes little Mysterious, and the truth if
were alone or not... but I dont think anyone cares to dig under the bay
to look for anything unless some mob Guys are ganna burrie some one...

If the ocean raises a meter, 40% of florida will be covered. They are estimating it will take 50 years or so for this to happen

I just can't wait 'till California breaks off and all the g4y people can all go live there by themselves. Mabey we'll throw in some of the illegals so they feel like people can still discriminate them and they can still have their pride rallys and stuff... |

The Discovery Channel is very underrated. They have some really good shows. American Choppers is good, but gets old, Monster Garage is just plain awesome, Monster House is okay, Mythbusters is fun to watch every now and then, and Animal Faceoff is really good. There are some more but oh well. Atlantis? Found? There goes another interesting mystery thanks to science. |

^Animal Planet is fun to mix in every once in a while. I have been watching more educational TV ever since ESPN started televising poker. It is on all the time!!! About trusting DSC, I wouldn't worry. If they said it I am sure it's true. |

I also saw this story on the Web so I doubt it's not true. As for other lost civilizations, there has to be a couple we haven't heard about. Maybe they'll find out that Cthulu (or is it Ktulu? You get the idea.) is actually down there...

it could be different. it could be atlantis. with science these days anything is possible. what was so special about atlantis again? well i guess that's pretty cool, but i dont know how it effects a lot of people. it would be amazing if they found it and brought it back to make it new and exactly like it used to be! that would be amazing. ok there panda man you're taking this a little too seriously. haha. well whatever. they can do whatever they want with their findings.

^^^ It a mile under water and under a whole lot sediment. I doubt it will come back, but they are trying to see if they can find artifacts. If they can, I imagine that there will be many deep sea explorations. That is, if it really is Atlantis.
