I play woodsball and in large realistic Urban maps and would like to know a good barrel for these kinds of fields. And after you vote please say how long the barrel should be for best performance.

flatline is definately for woodsball and if you play on large fields it would still be good if you want to start shooting before the other team can but it doesn't have the pinpoint accuracy but it does go farthur than normal barrels

the best barrel out there for the money is the allamerican. it is quite and one of the most accurate. get it. there is a barrel thread in the new player forum that tells u about all those barrels.  if yur looking for distance, the flatline is the only barrel that actually has extra distance added to your shot regardless to what other people may say.

2 barrel combo- flatline and ceramic, then you have every game relatively covered.

Oner more variable, I dont want to have to get expensive balls. Does flatline work good with crappy balls?

as long as the balls are the correct sized, about medium sized, and are not messed up like major denting in the balls. I have balls that have some that are dented and i haven't chopped one ball except when my velocity was terribly high. With the flatline you can't hve the velocity to high because if it is, the balls will go out straight for a period of time and then all of a sudden it rises very quickly causing you to lose the hit you would have had. Trust me, it has happened to me.

get BIG BALL, now formally known as MENACE.

they are the exact same ball made by the exact same peps.

i have a flatline and MENACE shoots AWESOMELY out of it.

also, MENACE is probably a mid-end paint (if thats a word)so it wont cost too much 45-50 dollers a case
