my mom likes wal-mart for some odd reason. so 1 time i went with her and i saw some bigball paint. i bought a 1000 of them. i also bought a 20oz tank. looking for the red dot sight but none in stock. whats so bad with there stuff. it works great for me. i had no ball breaks with my stock 98c barrel. it was great. tell me guys what is so wrong with wal-mart paintball gear?? ------------- Matrix Hyper 2 reg Proto barrel and grips Tadao M5 WGP uni CCM Feedneck |

Well, if you go to their site, then go to paintball, then to spyders, then to the new imagine, youll see that they sa that its semi, when really its a electro-trigger with multiple modes. What they did is took the turny lock out of all the imagines locking them into semi auto. Im sure the other members have reasons too though.(BTW they stockpile paint, so usually its old paint) ------------- You call the Eagle, Eagle does the rest. |

that is why you are suppose to check the paint before you buy it, and there not bad the paint is cheap, and not always that bad. (ecspecailly it your last resort, other than no playing)
so wal-marts ok in my book -------------

Its not the fact that there stuff sucks. You're taking a risk when buying their paint... You don't know if it's fresh or if it's been in a warehouse for a few months, without being rotated. -------------

| I bought a case of PMI paintballs and all of them were fine. Not a single one was broken, they would break fairly easy on contact on the field, so I wouldn't say it's Wal-Mart's fault if their stuff sucks. You get what you pay for and if you buy their cheap paint, well don't expect much. |

| What is wrong with Wal-Mart gear is that its from Wal-Mart. I buy from Doug, my local feild owner, or Mike, the local pro-shop owner. Supporting them keeps them in business, and that keeps me fueled with places to play, rather than throwing money in a mega-corporation's cofers. |

If your playing backyard ball or small tournies - you can buy wallmart and not be disapointed. It's not the best and you'd better open the cartons & check them before buying, but if you're careful you won't be disapointed. They're not the BEST quality because of how thier stored, but their not bad either. As always DON'T buy Brass Weasle reguardless of the price. | I don't think PMI is packaging their paint as BigBall anymore... I don't think they have for 6 months. Now it is called Menace. So basically, that paint you bought was pretty old... but hey, if it shoots for you, congrats. |

i bought some JT carnivor paint there and there were no breaks, but dont EVER buy a gun from them. Lol a couple years ago, me and my friends were just getting into paintball and my friend got a BE eradicator. He said it constantly mis fired and i said  .

Wal-mart sells refurbished crap. There's a reason they're guns are cheaper. Sometimes its just 'cuase its Wal-mart, other times its because it's been refurbished. The paint they have can sit in a warehouse forever, or it could have been sitting for only a couple weeks. It's pretty much a gamble. How bout the people who want to gamble and risk wastign money on crappy paint go to walmart and the rest of us go to our local pro-shop lol I think basically its just personal preference i mean somepeople think that walmart is great. (personally i think its messy and some what of uhh lets say like no one speaks english there) And others think walmart sucks and that it well sucks.I like that one dudes point on u should really give money to ur local proshops other than walmart. I once bought blue paintballs from wal-mart they were zapp rec series . so i tookj them home and decided well they were 25 bucks for a case so ill test em out see if there any good to buy more. So i loaded 4 in my hopper for a little test. I shoot one didnt see it on the tree to i guessed i had missed. Then i didnt see the other 3 either. So i went to the tree and the paint from the balls was rotten and brown dam smelled real bad. it had blednded with the tree nasty brown it was supposed to be blue. ------------- Smart parts impulse eclipse blade 4500 68ci pure energy tank All-american 14 inch ______________ paintballs 65dollars co25 bucks getting bunkered cause you used that old paint.... pricless |

Sometimes you'll get crap paint from Wal-mart, but If you're careful and you know what you're doing, you can get fairly decent paint from them. LordJovian: Refurbished, huh? I never knew that. i have personally bought alot of paint at walmart and used it in my 98c, of all the thousands of rounds ive shot i havent had one bust yet.
