Well if your Canadian you'll be seeing Al-jazeera instead (yes, I am very mad about that if you couldn't tell) All the other news channels are biased towards liberals. Maybe thats why Canadians hate Bush so much? They only get the negative |

Actually i really dont mind Gorge Bush as US preisident. I dont
nessisarily agree with the war on iraq as i to be honest have not kept
up on it and dont blive any media bs. BUT I HEAVILY agree with
the war on teroizim so i guess that makes me a BUSH supporter and i am
a PROUD CANADIAN. I even thought of joining our armed forces when i finished colledge but would not pass medical requierments maybe one day i still will. I don't dislike Canada. Infact thats my favorite vacation place. I was stating what some people (extremists) think of Canada. I have the same opinion you do, Bearclaw (besides the Canadian part). I was not endorsing that statement, I was showing what some people think about Canada (this is mainly because of how the majority is left-wing). Again, I have no problem with Canada, one of my best friend's dad is form their. My friends Canadian grandparents are probably the nicest people I know. |

I can actually feel the brain cells dying as I read this thread. Bill O'Rielly is essentially a conservative shock jock. He's fair and balanced in much the same way the KKK is impartial about race. Uh...Bearclaw are you saying you don't support bush? Personally I support bush much more than Bush.  And for the educational part of our show. "Yank" is a slang term used outside the US to describe all Americans. |

I've been spending alot of time reading over threads from www.militaryphotos.net and I like the national superiority difference. Here it is always a battle bewteen Canada and the US if there is one. Check out MSNBC and C-span... How are they not liberal biased? I will give you some things on fox are conservatively biased, but some things are liberaly biased as well, making it balanced, a little of each. |

Hmm... so you can bash Fox for being conservative, but you all ignore the ENTIRE REST OF THE UNDUSTRY with *their* overly liberal views.
It's little things. Reporters will say things like "I don't see what the big deal is with that topic" and make one side look stupid. Or they'll cover a riot or protest and make a huge group of people look dumb. Usually the report is something like this: "In other news, a CHRISTIAN woman killed her husband after he did such-and-such. She was mentally unstable. SHE WAS A CHRISTIAN." Insert condescending comment here: "Man, those Christians are getting dangerous, hmm?" These are obviously not quotes, but this type of reporting happens frequently. I used Christianity because it's the new "in" thing to bash nowadays. The liberal news networks do a lot of subtle things to make their target of choice appear stupid. Not defending Fox here, but I think most people are just blind to the bias. If you're of X set of political views, you won't register something supporting your views as a bias, because it fits right in with your beliefs. Only the aberrant things will make a person take notice, because most people's brains default to "News shows always tell the truth, disengage thinking here" until there's an item supporting a contrary viewpoint. Fox, in my experience, tends to show more reports of good AND bad things on the news, instead of bashing whoever set up the situation. Fox Example: New school in Iraq, then a report on a warzone. Other networks: Warzone in Iraq, on the 'misguided' invasion. And again, it's very subtle. You don't see networks going "BUSH IS EVIL ARRRRR". You see really low-key remarks that make the point just as clearly. In summary: You should all obviously keep bashing conservatives. Because we know that Christians have such a massive track record of being immoral, degenerate people with no sense of right and wrong (don't bring up the Crusades or any of that nonsense, it's totally irrelevant. I just don't have time to explain why right now). This forum is getting more and more vicious with every political post. A lot of people need to grow up and learn how to be civil. </long angry post> ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.
