Im thinking of doing something with my brothers tippmann 98, and ive been playing Halo 2 and if anyone here has played it there is a gun in it that i just love, maybe its the fact that it looks like something my favorite gun company would make, even concidering the fact that they developed the first caseless rounds and a gun to fire them, but thats not why i like the gun. the gun is called the "SMG" and i like it because it is small, has alot of ammo, and it tore alot of people up. then i was thinking, i can modify my brothers tippmann to resemble this gun since i have a q-loader.

here is what it looks like for those of you who havent played the game.

I cant replicate the stock looking thing so oh well i will do what i can, here is what i can do and will most likely do, first of all the foregrip is perfect but the bottom line has to go. I will get an additional vertical bottle adapter (i got one for my gun and love it) and then ill get a intruder foregrip. if you dont know what that is it screws into the ASA and now you have a new foregrip that is slanted down like the old one but you dont have the bottom line. instead of screwing a co2 tank in there i will use my remote and screw that into the foregrip. now thats done i will give it a new bolt, then i will get the dye boomstick (bottom half) to give it my loud and obnoxious gun reputation and it makes it more compact, i didnt know how loud the boomstick really was until i decided to test the range of my friends boomstick without the top half, and may i remind you the bottom has no porting at all so when i shot it the next thing i noticed was that it didnt sound like a paintball gun, it sounded like a pistol, maybe 9mm. but anyways im going to close off the hammer with a Spee-T-Cocker and if i have enough money left ill get a titanium hammer and thats all the ideas i have it wont be fully automatic because he doesnt have a 98 custom and i cant get a RT so im going to do what i can tell me what you think and please dont bash the Q-loader ive herd it before and dont need to hear it again.

My brother told me: "I dont play paintball anymore, so you can upgrade my gun any way you want and use it too." so that basically means i have permission to do this and use it.

By the way, the MP5 thing is that handgaurd from opsgear right? it looks like this?

looks to me like its a little too long.

Speaking of barrels i went to the dye website and they sell the bottom half of the boomstick but it is insanely priced at $85. that really blew my mind.

Are you planning on machining custom parts? I don't see how you'd be able to get it to look right if you didn't.

Ps. I prefer dual plasma rfls.

alright after a day of long work and some serious thinking due to the lack of stuff to do in school i have gathered my thoughts and ideas and here is what i came up with so far, I want to make the back end of the gun out of wood, i was thinking of starting out with a large block of oak or another strong type of wood but first ill have to find the games exact height and length of the gun and then figure out from that information what fraction of the gun does the stock take up and then scale it wo the tippmann 98 and sketch in pencil on the block the outline of the stock cut it out and then sand it down so there is no sharp edges, then i will see if i can get the sand-blask effect or whatever that is on the end of the stock and i was thinking i could make it where it fits over the bottom grip of the gun and then take those two screws and give them a use: to hold the stock in place. That cant be all i will do to secure it, im thinking of buying a cheapo stock that i can strip the cap that goes in the back of the gun off and attach it to my new wood stock then i will do minor finishing touches i will upload and post my concept art when i get the chance. ^^Yeah, the battle rifle is kick butt when in the right hands. I wish it were full-auto instead of 3round burst. Anyways, it sounds like a good idea. Although it will take some time, it should be a good looking gun.

I prefer the shotgun and ghost.
