Just an idea of what a dream would be to me on a paintball field.  I'd like to have a WWII setting like maybe... lets say D-Day, the Invasion of Normandy or stuff like that.  Battle of Anzio...or stuff like that where you would just ROle Play an actual WWII event that's all.

Skirmish in Pennsylvania has a 24-hour D-Day game. This past year the Americans won (just like in history).

They also have a Battle for Stalingrad 8-hour game coming up in March.

http://www.skirmish.com/scenario.html - http://www.skirmish.com/scenario.html

The D-day game had 2711 players, with the Americans defeating the Germans 20,225 to 20,175.

D-Day is gettin way too much props, but dont get me wrong kids...its a great game, but Im gettin tired of hearin bout it, how bout makin a game based on the Pacific Theater of Operations during WWII like the Battle of Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Leyte Gulf and some other awesome invasions against the Japanese Army.

Yeah, the d-day in pensylvainia looks pretty cool, they had the world record of the largest game of 2711 players. I am going to the Stalingrad match in march, that should be fun. But i do wish they would do some paintball scenarios for the pacific theatre too...

Skirmish and Oklahoma D-Day are exactally what you are looking for. 3310 players were recently at D-Day, and 2711 at Skirmish. D-Day looks amazing and I would like to head there or Skirmish after graduation.

We played something like D-Day but it was on dry land.

We used an old swingset and turned that in to a MG Nest and we put alot of Hedgehog like obsticals on the field. Instead of using landing craft boats, wee got everyone to line up behind someone walking forwards with a plywood board. we had 4 in vasion groups. Once we reached a sertain point in the field, we pushed th board forwared and charged..>>>>>>>>the rest went from there.........it was awsome

evil_fingers:

I think Skirmish did a "Burma Road" scenario a few (maybe 2) years back. But you're right, not much attention is focused towards the Pacific, I think Wake Island would be a good one or a hypothetical "what if" invasion of Australia.
