sounds like another spoiled rich kid!
...who hasn't even been in the sport long enough or taken the time to decide which guns are the best for him. Have you ever held any of these guns in your hand? Have you even visited their websites to look at the features? Do you know what pbreview.com is? Or do your parents just offer you money, and then you go and ask other people what you should buy?

Wait how do we know he is a rich kid?
Go out to a local field or store and hold /shot as many for them as you
can and pick which one you like best. Do your own research pick what
you like.

Well with X-mas being close and all of a sudden some one drops 1100$ on
a gun... i think you know where I'm going with this...
But there are occasions that some one works for almost a year at
McDonalds and brings a WAY pimped gun to the field, and with his skills
with a Pump, no one is Safe from him...

[QUOTE=adpaintball88] dont get the dm4, get the dm5!! [/
QUOTE]
I find this quite funny. Take a copy of a 2004 model gun, stick a 5
on it, redo the milling and trigger, and all of the sudden it's the best
thing on earth. I've shot both, and, I hate to say it, the DM4 is a
better gun. Sure, the DM4 is smaller and lighter, but it is no faster,
you can't remove the trigger spring, the experience I had showed an
excessive amount of chopped paint, and it feels rather unbalanced
to me with a full Reloader B. If it were me, I'd look into a Proto
Matrix. They're small, light, fast and reliable. Perfect for a front
guy.

Okay... I am not going to flame you but... I find it just a little hard to believe that parents would spend $1000+ on a paintball gun. Not saying that I don't believe you because it is possible that you worked hard for that money and are going to buy a gun. Cool then and if your parents buy you a $1000+ gun that dosen't mean you are a spoiled rich kid... It means that you probaly worked hard for that gun like you got really good grades in school and your parents where very proud or that you worked around the house and did alot of things to make your parents buy that gun so...
I would go with the DM5, Angel Speed, WGP Karnivor, or a Alias Intimidator or a Russian Legion Intimidator. Those are the 5 that I will suggest to you.

or maybe its the fact that the dm4 is a good 200 cheaper than a dm5? my friend is very serious about buying a new gun and hes actually lookin into a dm4 intead of a dm5 b/c of that price dif tha could be used on other stuff for his new gun. just because ur lookin at an older yr model (and its not like tis years and years older its like less than a year older right now) doesnt mean u arent serious about buying. my head is gonna explode b/c i just dont see where anybody could get that kind of logic from.

i would say freestyle, so much cheaper, just as fast, light, small, accurate, little bit of an air hog, but not too bad. you can get a freestyle for $700, but out of those...i would say the karni. and definitely don't get a dm5 over a dm4, same exact gun.

I would suggest waiting just because you have the money dont spend it, if you spell itimadator like that and you are talking about older models i have a feeling your not that experinced. Bank that money wait a while till your better and know more about pb guns then buy something you like by testing it out a local field or store
But if you want to know very badly i would say karnivor

Personally, if I were you, I'd get either:
-ICD Freestyle with an HE bolt kit, Crossfire 70/4500 stubby, Halo B.-About $780 for the gun, another $190-200 for the tank, and another $105 for the hoppper, comes out about $1100 total.
-MacDev Cyborg, not sure what upgrades, don't know what shortfalls this gun has, just know how crazy nice it is-70/4500 and Halo B as above.-$980 for the gun+$305ish for the other stuff is about $1300 or so.
Personally, I'd pick up one of these two in a yellow/black fade (matches my colors). These guns are both very fast, small, light, and just plain nice.
However, if you're new to the sport, remember that for a gun you're going to need:
-Harness
-Pants and a Jersey
-*MASK*
-Fast hopper and HPA are recommended no matter what gun you get.
-Experience, and knowledge. Learn about how your gun works, what the upgrades onit do, how to quickly change items on it, turn on your hopper, switch on your HPA tank, etc, quickly. Also, learn what certain nomenclature means, ie:68/4500 means a High Pressure Air (HPA) tank that contains 68 Cubic Inches (ci) of air, stored at a maximum of 4500 Pound per Square Inch (psi). Do research on your gun and general paintball items and tools. Get your own toolkit, with both metric and standard hex wrenches, an adjustable wrench, maybe even a strap wrench, and any tools that apply specifically to your marker. Above all, learn from the people who've played longer than you, and check out webdogradio.com for stuff, that site rocks.
Hope I helped you out.
