How bout a bipod?   And a remote might help you.  Otherwise, i like it, but wouldn't wanna own it.

It looks pretty nice. I like the camo. Why do you have a magnifying scope when paintballs are pretty inaccurate? I would have gone with a red dot. Also, I would reccomend an expansion chamber and/or remote line. The barrel looks way too long, but with the right upgrades(like a mag kit or something), it could kinda be a milsim. I dont really like micro caps, but whatever you like.

Also, Beware of flamers because you said "sniper".....

The barrel is 16 inches which isn't that long most upgraded barrels are around that long. this one is just thicker. The thing isn't heavy at all it's made out of plastic and does silence the flatline a lot.

also i use a scope to magnify it just a little since im a back man or "sniper" and having a scope can make it easier to spot opponents. the gun is very accurate it groups inside a foot at 200 feet.

Were you workin on yer A5 when you took that pic, cus it looks incomplete....no airline and no foregrip and yeah a bi-pod would compliment the looks and one thing, that raised scope rail is terrible, you couldve gotten a better one.

You need a bipod and a larger scope to really snipe the  whities

Dont use the words backman and sniper as the same thing because they are completely different. And please dont tell me you bought the """SILENCER"""" on ebay, or bought it at all.... Waste of money....

i ive see n a silencer on a whisper barrel on the A5 before. it was on my local field, and it was kinda of funny cus the guy who owns the field was a former cop and he made the silencer, but anyway JE HU ZUS i was standing about 5-10 feet away from him and he was firing off mulitiple rounds and seriously could not hear one shot that came out of that gun.  when we were on the field the only way u could tell where u was, was by looking for the little air that escaped his barrel.  god it was so sweet, i wanted one as soon as i saw it......and btw it WAS made out of PVC pipe.

i use a micro cap instead of the hopper, it holds about 30 rounds which is usually enough for scenario play. yea the remote line plugs right into the intake which is infront of the trigger. when i bought this gun before i ugraded it, it had a drop forward which i didnt need sine i had a remote line

mine only held 20. so anyway....go to http://www.countypaintball.com - www.countypaintball.com and then look for the lapco offset sight mount.  it tilts your scope or sight rail so that it clears the hopper without any interference and i think it adds a nice look to your gun.

well im looking at mine on my gun and it can only hold 23.  i bought it from opsgear if that makes any difference.

Posted By: FupaLuver4U
Date Posted: 09 December 2004 at 7:15pm

it totally depends how far you push the cap down, mines from opgear and yea it holds only like 23 but they say it holds 30. but mines down all the way. i wish i could get an offset scop mount but im left handed so that would just put the scope behind the hopper.

does anyone know of other kinds of hoppers that fit on the A-5?

well....u can monut it off to the right and still aim with it even though your left handed........... cant u?  i mean, it seems like u can just move your head over a little bit to the left and look through it. oh well. im sure it would work though.

nice marker, but how heavy is that thing, and how many decibels do you think it is with and without the 'silencer'. not to flame you for it, but does it actually work? its just that us who have never heard a 'silencer' doubt its worth and usefulness. but its an awesome marker.

the silencer is made out of some type of plastic not pvc but something else. i have no idea how many decibels but when i fire it it sounds like theres no air attached to the gun if youve ever pulled the bolt back and fired without air thats what it sounds like.
