Hey, so I'm outfitting my 98 custom for a little sniping on the feild. Since most scopes tend to magnify further than the actual range of the marker, I want something with little to no zoom. I've been looking at ADCO's Sure Shot, but am not decided. Any suggestions???

just a minor correction a scope is an instrument used to magnify when your talking about not magnifying you call it a sight.  And yes the red dot sure shot is very nice.  but just to let you know sights in paintball IMO are a waste of money but thats just me.

I wouldn't use them for aiming but if you see something suspicous you can check it out with the scope.

^^^ that would be the only advantage, you can scan yer surroundings (sp?) for any players. other than that like what predator said IMO they are a waste. And plus if its not a scenario game it will make you look like a noob. ( nothing against that )

senario games and just screwing arround with my friends is really all I do. But for $35, it can't be all that bad, can it? Especially since I suck at lineing up the sights down the barrel.

Why worry bout settin the sights on the barrel and wondering which scope to use when you can use yer own eyes....you can see the balls fly when theyre being shot and its not like theyre goin at lightspeed.

I use a scope on my marker. Its about 4x zoom and I use it purely for spotting purposes. I say go for it.

Although the sureshot will just give you a little red dot "on" what your shooting when looking through.
