heres MY black proto, just came in today serial # 000223
its so sexy they only thing im mad about, it didnt come with a manual, and the trig came set very poorly, but its good now. ------------- <1 meg sig = bad> |

looks kinda wide, fat kinda thing, but then it looks good, i prefer the dm4 and dm5, don't like proto stuff and especially the barrel. good buy though, i guess you like it so go and let it rip. ------------- if it moves it becomes a target. the proto is basicly a DM5. the proto is made on the same mills and on the same place as the DM5's are made. i think they have the same internals. proto=dye dye=proto the proto is a hot gun |

I would have to say that I do like the DM5 a little bit better because the body is not as tall as the Proto and the DM5 is more streched out. the pm5 is no wider than the dm4, even pretty much is the dm4, just they moved the lpr to the front, got rid of the on off, and made it shorter.
im tired of ppl that think its wider, look thats a dm4 and proto side by side, the proto is actuly skinner. -------------

I guess that makes two of us. Edit**- Oh, and FrogMan, sick gun. If I were you, I'd go with the CCM rail, an Ultralite kit (but the Stiffi is nice also), and, as for a clamping feedneck, I never had a problem with a Empire Reloader B in the stock one. |
