Search dude..but since I'm postin I might as well answer you.

There's a cylinder behind the trigger, and everytime you shoot the cylinder fills up with co2 and puts the trigger back in ready to shoot position.  So if you do it correctly when it resets it will bounce off your finger and turn then gun auto basically.

basicly it makes it shoot really fast its not exactly automatic but the trigger pull is really light and easy to shoot fast

They should just make mechanical full autos instead of that fake full auto crap

Actually it makes the trigger pull harder because you have the pressure of the piston.

The response trigger actually puts a piston in back of your trigger and when you pull the trigger you push the piston. the piston bounces back faster than the usaul trigger make you ready to fire again. It is almost full auto. I have one and i love it.

The R/T pushes the trigger back into position, allowing for higher rates of fire. the ROF is adjusted by allowing more or less CO2 into the cylinder.

A side effect of the R/T is that is can bounce the trigger off your finger, firing each time. This isn't a true "full-auto", but it's close. It's known as "sweetspotting". it's not easy to do, but you can lay down quite a bit of paint if you manage to hit the sweetspot.

yeah when i tried it, it was a really hard trigger pull. increases rate of fire about as high as you can get with your gun.

If you are planning to purchase a Response Trigger, keep in mind that Response Triggers are not allowed at many fields.

Contrary to popular belief, 3 bps accurately placed (which is easily done with a stock trigger on any gun) is just as effective as 32bps. The only true benefit of insane bps is the intimidation factor (mostly against newer players). Accuracy counts 10x more then spam.

nobody is walking any tippmann trigger unless it is electrical and even some electrical are impossible to walk.  I'm talking about really walking it [ie: over 5 bps] not laboring to pull the trigger w/ alternating fingers and calling it walking.

Really, how enforced is that? Have you seen somebody have to leave the field because of that?

Ok, I found an old clip I made of my RT, it was actin up this day, but its aight, and my mic got some air, and sounded weird towards the end, but anywayz, this is how the RT sounds, wish i had a vid...

" http://steelvipers.stealthwebs.net/Paintball/TrippiN98CRT.mp3 - http://steelvipers.stealthwebs.net/Paintball/TrippiN98CRT.mp 3 "
-if it dont work for you, copy the url, paste in address bar, and take the space between the mp and 3 out, and the space before the http. Some reason it keeps adding those automatically..

*edited* Finally got it working, i had to convert it to a .mp3, but anywayz, here ya go. Not the best rt in the world, and like i said, it was acting up, but that is what you can expect from an RT, or atleast expect some 5-10 shot burst

I've never been asked to leave the field, but people HAVE asked me to turn it down...  Since then I turn the RT WAY down to chrono, then turn it up a little before hitting the field.  :-)

I have the response trigger and love it . After seeing bucu lil electric switches being replaced at my local PB shop and the repair guy telling stories of wet or damp circuit boards blowing and alas dead batteries in the field ..... I'll stick with it. Hard trigger pull .... geez how limp are some of these guy's fingers ? Did they ever fire a real firearm ? And try a remote line on the co2 helps keep it gas and how those people ever get any balance from tanks like my 90/4500 on a drop forward ! Plus no more unscrewing and that blast o gas ... with a quick disconnect and shut off valve built in    the remote line should be number 2 on parts list .
