I need to know if there is any way I could fix up my 98 custom to look like a real gun without buying the official accesories cuz paintball products are rediculously expensive and someone needs to get shot for making them those high of prices. I'm talking about like making my gun look like a real gun with cheap material.

It doesnt matter what parts you get if you want to turn yer marker into a milsim, it will still cost you.....jus get the parts you need one piece at a time.

Or if you have the time, the resources and the knowledge, you can create yer own milsim parts....inwhich alot of people are doing jus that.

he said he had a 98 custom why would you even suggest him upgrading the A-5?

There is but if you dont wanna spend cash your gonna have to make it yourself which isent dificult if you have the right tools stocks are very simple to make just buy some wood cut the shape you want out round off the edges with sand paper paint it if you want or put clear coat just figure out a way to bolt it to the back piece shrouds/hand guards are some what easy but as far as like m4's or m16s go you wont be able to make 1 yourself but you could make a thompson hand guard or even an mp5 1 just paint it black or something cut it out of wood slide it over the barrel and use retention screws

If you dont want to spend too much money, get a sim-15 from ariakon. Otherwise ben tippmann, or opsgear.com would be my next best choices.(those will realistically cost you more then a sim-15 just to tell ya, but could be cheaper if you dont want it to look that real)

I really think people need to practice READING in the thread.

One guys suggests making an A-5 into a mp5 and another tells him to go buy something, read folks.

DracoPlasm's wood stock idea usually turns out very nice if you do it right.  Other options are going out, buying metal and making these parts.   You can do a decent job with a dremel if you have patience, if you have a lathe even better.

What kind of gun are you thinking of?

Most people that have the 98c would turn it into an AK47, M4, M16, AR15 or a G36.

Personally I turnin mine into an AR15.

NOES!!!!1111

Cushman = bad

If you want to make your gun milsim with Cushman crap, you can save money by melting trashbags on it.  Seriosuly, its the same result, cept a bit better with the trashbags.

What's so bad about Cushman? They have upgraded their plastic from .055 all the way to .090.

Is it just the idea that it is plastic that you do not like?
