If the goth kids are like "satan is my friend" and "death is good" and all that crap, they're dumb. If they just wear black, they're okay.

the stupid little "punk" kids that wear all that stuff are comletely contradicting the reason why they're doing it....
IMO, the hardcore punks(stupid hair, retarded spikes and clothesepin,
obnoxious clothes, etc.) and the white wanna be innercity kids are
equally the same

difference does it make how someone dresses? Maybe they are the

and maybe not.
the vast majority of people that I know who dress like goths are rotten human beings, because they try to live out the image that they've adopted.
That being said, I know dozens of punks who ARE good people. I've got more beef with the attitudes people have than the clothes.
and yea, often enough, clothing will reflect a person's attitude. When was the last time you saw a street gang member in an armani suit or an executive wearing a black leather trenchcoat with dark eye makeup?

I understand your point fully, and im going to assume im an exception
to your point. I am a 6' tall kid, about 150 pounds, long haird
monster. People's first impressions of me are generrally "dude,
that kid is scary". But when you get to know im in a pretty nice
guy. The majority of the poeple i know who dress all "gothicy"
are generally nice people. Along with the "**edited**s",
"punks","skaters"..etc. Now of course there are exceptions, but
just a majority of the people i know are pretty friendly.

you to classify them as a "punks." those are the kind of people that
are trying way to hard to fit in with the rest of the crowd...how
should i take someone seriously and kindly when they dress up and walk
around in public like a complete asshole?....i'm not one to label

punks, they contradict themselves by wearing all the insignea and "garb" of the punk subculture, its based on non conformity. Yet all of them insist on wearing a couple things. And you can point them out very easily. For instance. The big belt buckle, just like the guy from blink 182. Or the spiky hair, see Rancid. They all look the same. They were the same uniform if you will. All of them cant wear clothes that match.
And goths. If its really that bad. They would iritate me so much less if they just quit nibbling on the barrel of a gun everyday and telling me about it. They need to grow a pair and do the job, im really getting tired of these stupid snot nosed teens pretending that they are hard core. Its just plain iritating!

heh, I too was in the mall last night. And there were some Neo looking
kids in black trenchcoats. My friend Rich bet my friend Frank $5 he
wouldn't go up to them and ask if they met the Oracle yet. Well, he
did. The conversation went something like this.
"Hey, have you guys seen the Oracle"
"Umm...no."
"Really, I have"
"Oh, what did she say?"
"Yes"
(Then Frank raised his hands and gave the kids high-fives) and walked away.
Good times.

Life's obviously going well when there's 10 yar olds practicing self-mutilation. **edited**head. I know more than 1 person personally who cut themselves, but it's not to be "cool" or be "goth". If you're gonna make some scratches on yourself and walk around showing the world to try to get pity from others, go die. But in most cases, people try to hide them the best as possible... Some of you should really read up on some stuff, an article or 2 would help form some non-ass-like statements.

I'm not saying that self-mutilation is the way out, but I'm sure a small percentage of those "life sucks" kids are actually enlightened about what goes on in the world. I went to catholic school, and read ALOT I figured out God didn't exist by grade 4, which made for an interesting next 4 years, alot of long nights pondering the afterlife. I'm in a public high school now, and most of my theories are still standing strong about the world sucking, alot.
Edit- I don't mean that trying to get attention through said ways is a good thing, just saying, maybe some of those kids are indeed depressed or yroubled.

Thats how i feel. People can classify me all they want. But
if you want an opinion i care about get to know me than say you hate
me. People classify me as punk, which i find odd because if i had
to classify myself at all i would consider myself a sk8ter d00d.
