they are dependable but really expensive (full kit w/back & AA front)

If you have patience and time it'll be fine. If your just
gonna play a few times a year then get somthign
cheaper. Read about it some more and you'll find out
the problems you're probably hearin about it are just
because somone didnt install it correctly.

what r looking for most? accuracy, quietness, or paint pickiness, or all?

Accurate, Loud, Not paint picky=bigshot

Little less accurate then bigshot, little quieter than big shot but still not even close to innoticably quiet, Not paint picky=J&J

More accurate than Bigshot, Quieter than J&J and even the whisper barrel, Not paint picky at all= All American

They make the newer 2 piece models of the All American and they have the 2001 1 piece All Americans.  the 2001 AA's have better ratings than the new ones. And... they are only $23 and the new ones for the back and front are $70.  http://www.firstcallpaintball.com/detail.aspx?ID=508 - http://www.firstcallpaintball.com/detail.aspx?ID=508   i hope the choice is clear if u r looking for a barrel.  look for one that fits the 98c
