Bought this off of eBay for 123 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7113758996&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT - Here it is originally. The guy lives in Houston as I do so I went to pick it up locally and saved some money on shipping. Several things have changed like my http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7117400487&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT - new wooden hand grips , http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7114444284&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT - level ten bolt(I'll tell you the story on this later) , Empire Reloader(already had), drop forward(Already had), http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7114444922&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT - braided steel hoses which actually turned out to be the EXACT sizes I needed , and an X-Core to replace the gas thru and strange expansion chamber that came with it. The X-Core does both jobs now. I have the Reactor on/off installed in the valve. This came with the level ten.

I cut the feed neck down to keep the hopper lower. I'm probably not going for a ULE body because I'd need all new barrels and I'm not sure how that shiny thing would look on this stock rail.

The grips look awesome IMHO. They add a touch of class and the color of the wood looks great with the sand blast finish on the main body.

Two barrels came with this. A 12 inch SP Progressive and a 12 inch Dye Xcel barrel. I'm liking the Progressive more as of now. But I haven't got onto the field yet with this. I've just tested it in my backyard.

I have an HPA tank but I mainly use CO2. CO2 gives me SOOO many more shots than the HPA tank. I just pictured the HPA tank so no one can tell me I need to step up and buy one. The wooden grip frame is meant for an RT so I had to do some modifications to get it to work right. Not interested in getting an X-Valve. I don't want to shoot that fast. No where near that fast in fact. Paint costs too much. My 7-8 bps is suiting me fine. I'm pretty much forcing myself to conserve paint...

And here it is!....

-68 Automag Classic valve level seven
-PFHL main body
-WGP Torpedo drop
-X-Core
-Macro line and Stainless line with quick disconnect
-Level ten is supposed to be a Christmas present and will be now
-Reactor on/off is supposed to be a Christmas present and will be now
-wooden grip with double trigger
-12 inch SP Progressive barrel
-12 inch Dye Xcel barrel
-Empire Reloader
-TASO RVA
-Bulldog II 4500/68ci HPA tank
-2 twenty ounce tanks
-Z-Valve being sent free of charge by Alf on the AGD forums. Thanks Alf!

Now I just need to update my sig...

Comments?

EDIT: Oops. Forgot to tell the level ten story. I bought it off of eBay and it was supposed to be a gift from my parents. Well, I met the mail lady and secretly installed it and put my level 7 in the box. he he he lol They will never know. I just have to act excited on Christmas. IDK. I'm feeling kind of guilty. I might put it back. Would you??? It got put back along with the Reactor on/off.

EDIT again: As you can see, I had to add washers imbetween the grip frame and drop to keep it from hitting the X-Core when I unscrew the on/off.

EDIT a third time: Click on my sig to see my A-5.

Thanks for your comments. The trigger guard has been cut off by the previous owner of this grip frame. So if I want a double trigger and don't want to buy a whole new  90 dollar frame, the guard has to be cut. It's meant for a single trigger...

I don't think my field will care. They allow Tippmann RT's which are illegal.

A Stock classic mag or MiniMag are 15bps capable marker.  But RT Pros and ULE Xmags can shoot mutch quicker and are fully mech markers.

There is also the Emag witch is even faster but can still be operated as a Mech marker if the need arises.

but the best thing about mags is the Parts intercahagability and backwars compatibility.  There even more upgradeable than a tippmann.

They also have a level 10 bolt witch is supposidly eliminates the possibility of chops (Ill tell ya more mines in the mail).

Oh and there TINY.

When I'm at the field I'll definitely use the HPA because of their free refills. But when I'm at home testing it or playing at someone's house, CO2 will be used. Or both if I have some of HPA left over from last field play.

Bear Claw mentioned that Classic mags can get up to 15 bps. Very true. But who and pull a non walkable trigger that fast? I think my average is 7-8 at my max. Pretty much the same as a stock Cocker.

Not ULE'n it. I'd need a new barrel, rail that would go with it, and I don't think my beloved grips would go with it. If anything, I'd look in the AGD classifieds for a vert feed Classic body. I could probably pick one up for 15 bucks. It's got to be blasted though.

I don't think my X-Core is working. This thing is screwing up bad. When I shoot down and let the liquid pass out of the can I can hear it leaking down the barrel with that liquidy sound and sometimes it'd be an 'ice gun' and spray gas and chunks of liquid out of the barrel for a couple of seconds. The CO2 is killing it... I might eventually have to permanently switch to HPA if this is hurting the orings.

I know that's right. It might be time for a Dye Rhino. This tank came with my A-5 and the previous owner did it. It gets the job done though.

Automags don't have removable trigger guards so to get a double trigger in there you have to completely remove it.

umm the x-valve doesnt make you shoot faster it just is lighter and has a faster recharge rate.  The ULT will do the trick not x-valve( if you wanted it)

Cool gun though im savin up for a mag and Ive already traded my cocker for hpa so im just in need of a gun AGD is 1337.

You, Blue Hopper, were the one I was referring to.

ProCarbine, the X-Valve resets the trigger like a Tippmann RT. It does give you a higher potential ROF. If you want to go that high. ULT's won't wok on Classic mags. Anything besides a Classic mag actually. But there are other(not as reliable) items that will try to emulate it and give a lighter trigger pull.

Also, what kind of mag are you going for? Custom RT like Tolgak? -The fastest mech on the market. Hey, I've seen 1337 SO many times on the forum but I never got what it meant? Help please?

Thanks for the good comments.

Stops chops. The level 7 will chop a ball and a level 10 will bounce off of it leaving it unharmed. This is the best example of the level ten in action. (The dollar bill) http://www.automags.org/%7ETomAGD/BUCK1.AVI - Just let it sit. It'll start eventually.

I've been thinking a lot about this CO2 situation. This Classic mag came out when only CO2 was around. Using CO2 will not kill it or these would never have sold. Back in '92, people had to use CO2.

That hopper is really up there... lol Look into cutting the feed neck and cutting the hopper feed tube down. That is, if you don't like the hopper being so high.

It's actually for speedball. That's what I play. Not the fastest, but I don't want the fastest anyway.

becare full with that trigger if you moved your sear at all it could mess up your gun.

What do you mean? Moving the sear as in adjusting the rod length? I had to do that BTW. This trigger sits a lot farther away from the frame than the stock trigger. Is that ok to move it like that? I've heard people say don't move it at all. But if I left it, the bottem portion of the trigger would hit the frame before it would fire and not allow me to pull it all the way.

The automag sear Comes out of the factory with tolernce(sp) that should not be mess around with by messin' with the sear you mess that up and it will hurt you bolt,on/off , valve and many other parts.

That is y i would get a cheap agd trigger frame or put the old one back on with a new sear.

Then they voided there warranty with AGD.

If you don't belive me i'll show you the web site were an agd tech said
"

For Dummies

There are people out there who think they can achieve better performance by modifying parts. They are wrong. If the existing marker could reach a better performance as it is, it would come that way out of the factory.

7. DO NOT shave or modify the sear or adjust the trigger rod.

8. DO NOT modify the on/off pin length, you will end up with a marker that either wont work, or wont be allowed anywhere. This also voids your warranty with Airgun."

I'll try to get it back to normal then. I'm going to have to shave the trigger gaurd down some more so the gun will fire before it hits the plastic.

dj89, I'm looking at that pic again and I see what you mean now. The trigger is in the same position as a stock frame but the plastic before the trigger is pulled away so it shows the rod when it shouldn't. Let me know if you understand what I just said.

Not diggin' the grips?!?! That's what makes this gun... Oh well. It is preference after all. You either like 'em or you don't. Thanks for the remark.

Ya Automags don't have removable guards like Tippmanns do. So y'all were still wondering why I didn't have a guard? I thought I clarified that...

Ok. Here is the new and improved, "Boydster's Automag". This is probably my favorite set-up of the gun. I just need to get my tank anti-siphoned because pointing it down does strange things. Would use the X-Core but that ruins the feel. Which set-up do you like more?

That should be working. I don't know why unless image shack is down.

EDIT: Ya image shack is down. I'll try to find another host real quick.

EDIT: Image Shack wasn't down after all. They just did something funky with these two pics because my other ones were working and these were yesterday. Well, now they're up.
