I have been putting oil in the bottom line, not knowing that it can get trapped in the reg and cause inconsistent velocity.  Usually when everytime I play, i have to adjust my velocity back up to 275 f/s.  I just want to get the oil out of the reg.  I think there may be a build up of it.  I have actually been getting sometimes +- 10 f/s at the chrono.. It hasn't really affected me too much.  i just want to keep my cocker running well.  Any help is appreciated

Im lost as to why you asked for advice and then say "no i wont take it apart and clean it"

My cocker reg has crud all over the top of the plunger, and it still works fine.

If your so worried, then take it apart. Of course i warn you, thats easier said than done.
