You no once you get above a 16 inch barrel you are just wating gas to get
the balls out of that barrel. Also the only way I could see using a 16 inch barrel would be airball so you could rap around the bunker with it. 21" Thunder pig, piece of crap you bought off of EBay. You got served. Anything over 14" is overkill and pointless because the gas can only expand to a certan degree. Anything past that, and the barrle will cause drag on the ball and slow it down, so you will need a higher initial velocity, hence, more air, to get the ball going the same speed as it would be if it was shot out of a shorter barrel. The only reason why he went fer somethin like that is because he is a "n00b" and believed all the worthless hype bout using a 21" barrel to improve his accuracy, the samething goes fer my friend who fell fer that hype as well...hell, fer all I know he probably got it from my friend where he originally got it from Ebay and sold it to him. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

Not with a tippmann, you can't use more or less air by just adjusting your velocity or putting on a new barrel like you can with most other guns. -------------

Strombo, you probably shouldn't waste your time trying to get any type
of response out of about 95% of the people on this forum that doesnt
rival that of either a caveman or a 5th grader. Most of the
people on this forum are one of two things noobs or computer addicts
that have some paintball knowledge so they come to this forum and flame

Why would you make a post about how long your barrel is? Of course you're gonna get flamed. I'm not gonna flame you for having that barrel because I haven't seen THAT one in action before, but I've seen others that long and all they did was break balls and hit the side of bunkers when people were running in or out of them.
Personally I have a 12 in Bigshot (excellent barrel btw) and I play speed with it, but I wish I would have gotten the 8in. Maybe thats just my personal preference. ------------- Signatures are **edited** |
