I was just thinking about my summer at my friends field (1 speedball and some woods) about filling tanks and i thought why can't the tanks fill themselves! you would only need one tank then and it would have a built in compressor mini of course! it would cost around 260.00 but it would last along time. let me know wad ya thinke.lol

so ur saying add a "mini" air compressor 2 an hpa tank? the prob is that an air compressor (speciallly a mini one) cant fill to a high enough psi for the tanks (unless u can find an air compressor that fills at least up to 3500 psi)  nice try though

Lets see if I can remember all the reasons we figured out why this wouldnt work the last time a thread like this came up.

1. A small enough compressor wouldnt have enough psi
2. Would need a powercord or a large battery
3. Would make alot of noise
4. Would need a complicated system of valves and hoses
5. You didnt really think this out so well.
and 6. The lord hates you, and he date raped your mom.

The 1st 5 is understandable, but the last one is gettin too personal.

where would the "mini compressor" get power

you could just have a removable air compressor so when ur standing on the side lines u could slap it on and fill it up while u wait

Well,  for one thing, the big air compressors like at SEARs only put about 300PSI TOPS! And you want a MINI one! That's crazy!

Yeah, this idea has been thrown around "a few" times before.

It won't work.

Actually this is a pretty bad idea. Until they can create a powerful enough, small enough compressor system, it will not happen. High pressure storage tanks are the most efficient use of air power to weight right now.

Toby15custom, you handle criticism/humor at your own expense very well.  You demonstrated maturity by just joining in the fun as opposed to throwing a screaming, balled-up-fists, jumping up and down, tantrum flamefest like so many others do.  Good job!

^Yep.  It was a good idea, but it wasn't thought out long enough.  I don't blame you for that though.  It's a complicated subject.
