| I have an idea that should very well be considered. With all the new antichop things coming out I think tippmann should join in. Even pirahna's got an anti-chop gun. My idea would consist of redesigning the A-5. Instead of the air powered cyclone feed system, it would be battery powered. Therefore it would be faster. Then it would have an eye sensor at the bottom of the breech. I would keep the cyclone propeller for more insurence of no chopping. Then I would make it have a stock regulator, b/c I had an A-5 and once I put nitro into it it ran like crap. It would always chop. My e-grip was no better than the stock grip. So I would improve on all those things. The gun would look cooler, and be better. Now of course this would be a lil more expensive than passed tippmanns but it would be a pro level gun. I would have it availibe in more colors, red would be my color. Oh yeah the grip would look more like an angel or impulse grip. Which would be better. I have a Strange Impulse on the way, which is like one of the best guns out there, this idea would be able to compete with the strange, possibly... |

nitro should not make your gun run poorly. perhaps you needed to adjust the air flow going to the cyclone, since air is a different (and better) animal than CO2. If I remember correctly you had to get tippmann to send you an adjustment valve to hook to the cyclone.
the cyclone is an awesome invention. it turns everytime you pull the trigger...how much faster does it need to be? and NO BATTERIES!! that's the point. all mechanical..no boards frying, no batteries dying.. I ran air w/ better results than co2 on my old a-5 without any regulator besides the velocity adjustor. If you notice the a-5 is meant to look somewhat like a military weapon. Tippmann produces a marker and sticks with it and pumps them out. Traditionally they are shooting for the wood/rec ballers as it is a huge market. I have seen egrips rip like crazy. wht mess with a proven thing by trying to make it more complex/fragile by getting an eye system in a marker that is built like a tank? the e-grip is made by tippmann. If some company wanted they could make an aftermarket grip that looks like "whatever" if they thought it would sell. strange impulse is a mid-level marker...not bad by any means, but DM5,Timmy,angels..they are just in a different class. anyways, tippmann doesnt need to compete with anybody, their markers are tried and true and sell like hotcakes. they have cornered their own market by people who want a solid marker at a reasonable price and don't care about BLING (ahem..spyders) all in all it is a interesting idea, and I would not be surprised if someone mauled their A-5 and put eyes in it just to see if they could do it somewhere. ------------- 2003 Kill Bill Matrix http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-7/33398/skb.JPG - My Matrix EAT PAINT,YOU FRIGGIN'..um..
