My bro has a powerbook G3, and he wants to upgrade the operating
system. He wants the most recent version. Can he just get
Mac OS X retail, and install that? If not, what can he do?

They don't suck for gaming, they just have a smaller selection of games. I only play 2 games anyways, so what's it matter. -------------

They have a Much smaller selection of games, they are outrageously (sp) expensive to upgrade, and they dont have any new ATI cards in the g5. -------------

Because maybe people use computers for things other than gaming. They
are very popular among music editors, video editors, graphic design,
and the like. People use them like a computer, not a gaming machine. Maybe you should just go play counterstrike or something and masturbate to the ATI catalog. |

For once I somewhat agree with Sammy but keep in mind that not everyone
games.. I dont and I love my mac. And Glassjaw OS X is the best part
about macs, installing Windows on it would totally ruin the point.

You can't install windows on a mac, their processors use different instruction sets.
