So, last night we got a thin thin layer of ice on our streets, which is pretty much the most dangerous type of ice there is.

I went out and slipped around a little bit, then honestly decided it would compromise my safety () and opted to turn around and head home... in the parking lot, turning around, I did a 360.
Christ.

Driving on snow/ice is fun.  Turn off the traction control and go nuts.

not here it was like 3 degrees yesterday. its still kinda fun to spin my tires around icy corners, almost toasted one of the posts in front of my house trying to do it into my drive way.

Heh.  It was about -7* here in NJ this morning at around 7.  While I was going into school, my hair litteraly froze (I had just taken a shower).  It was cool, but then it melted and got all over my stuff...

I got you all beat.  You should see when i get the School buses at work doing donuts THATS FUN.  Had my boss laughing his ass off and Schoolbus drivers with there jaws on the ground.  I love snowy and icy weather loads of fun to play in.

But when it comes to on the street im saftey befor fun.  My new truck seems to handel the snow ALOT better than my old ranger (Always a PITA with No weight and 2wd non limited slip on a SUPER light truck). This trucks got PLENTY of weight 6300lbs a limited slip rear diff and still no weight in the bed (Im stuborn).

It was pretty cold here this morning too at -30*C (-18.4*f).  It was kinda funny cause a WHOLE butch of cars on my street could not start and i walking out there toi my big old diesel thinking i got no chance of starting.  Well the dang thing fired up on about 6 of the 8 cylinders and smoked the ENTIRE naborhood in black smoke .  My nabours were shocked as the ran into there houses to escape the BLACK clud of Diesel goodness.
