Don't try this if you don't know how to properly wind your drive cone or aren't sure about your skills. I will not be responsible for any "mishaps." Many people have PM'd me about this so I will tell you, but as easy as this is, try this at your own risk.
First, turn your Halo/Reloader on and watch and listen to the motor and drive cone. Remember what you see and hear. What we will be doing is reducing friction and allowing your Halo to operate easier, smoother and quieter.
Take your Halo/Reloader apart and remove the board. You should have the whole drive assembly in your hands. Take the drive cone, drive cone spring and spring housing off the post. Get some medium grit sand paper and place the drive cone flat down on the paper. Sand it down to make it smoother and a little lower. Follow up using fine sandpaper. What you have done is remove any burrs in the plastic that may catch on the feed tray and also raise it up off the feed tray to reduce as much friction as possible.

Now grab your drive assembly and a dremel with a tapered grinder on it. Looking into the drive area, you will see 3 nuts recessed into the bottom. The screws in them come from underneath and poke up a little bit. Grind the threads that stick up down. Now look at the plastic inside the assembly and you will probably see round marks left from the molding process. If you run your fingers into them you will notice they are a little rough. Carefully hit them with the dremel to smooth them out.
Now look at your motor. The motor shaft may stick up quite a bit... you don't want it to... if it sticks up higher than 1/16" then hit the shaft CAREFULLY with the dremel to lower it. What happens is that when the motor is spinning, the shaft moves up and down slightly... this can cause the shaft to hit the inside of the left shell half.

Re-assemble the Halo and turn it on... it should be MUCH smoother, less hesitant and quieter.
My top 3 picks for replacement boards...
#1. Z-95... team board, you can probably forget about this one. 30 BPS feed rate proven. Consistent and all around retarded. Not for sale to General Public. If you see on on PBN, buy it.
#2. Angry Halo board... http://www.angrypaintball.com - www.angrypaintball.com Consistent at 28-29 BPS feed rate proven. Great piece... but expensive. $65
#3. Oddysey Victory Board... adjustable feed rate from slow to WOW. Not very consistent. In its highest setting, its feed rate will swing from 28-19 BPS. Still a great board at a decent price... around $40.
