I was looking at some sites the other day for some scenerio games and one big question I saw alot was asking about night vision. Now Im sure this has been thought of a million times, but has it ever been tried? You make a mask were the lense kinds acts as a 1 way mirror. Now everyone sees nothing insode the mask, but what you see when you flip the switch is perfect night vision. You could use two lenses and in between the lenses is another lense that acts as the night vision. you can see straight through the lense in the day and at night when you turn it on, boom you have night vision. 99.9% of scenerio games ban normal night vision goggles. So i think if you are a seriouse scenerio player and you have the money, it could work. A 3 lense mask with 2 lenses being thick enough to prtect from a ball, but thin enough to not be huge. I think if made right it could work. It would totally change night games.

Some scenario games have groups of special force players{which I will be in when I go to them} and I think it would be cool if only they could use them, but still it's kinda unfair.

night vision is not compacked enough to make it fit in that small of a space. + if it was small enough the 2 way glass would make it harder to see out. in that case if you got the cheaper ones $90-$1000 it would be even harder to see.

sorry if i am a "bit" nagitive but i know from experince

Pardon me while I correct my little brother, for I have seen nightscopes on guns before and it works. Those 90-1000 dollar scopes aren't as bulky as you would imply here. Maybe it wouldn't work on your Piranha but on, oh say, a 98c or A-5, a night scope is easily mounted on the gun. And if you weren't a nut and didn't go to bed at insanely early hours (6:00 to 8:00 for no reason) Then I would tell you this personally. But it is 8:38 and theirfore I can't. So poo to you!

Im not sure where your getting your information, but every senerio Ive seen, doesnt discourage nightvision. In fact, they encourage it because it is safer then blind firing.

I have been to one scenerio game out of the dozens ive been to that allow night vision. They ban it because it interferes with your mask. Plus if you have a night vision system, it could get damaged from a paintball hitting it. the 1 way lense was just so that the lighted lense containing the night vision wouldnt be seen very well. Ill draw up some blue prints and post them.

Having had experience with night vision equipment I can tell you the technology does not yet exist to put the gear between the lenses of a paintball mask.  If your curious, check out the link below (hopefully it works), it goes to a site that sells NVGs.  This specific link goes to a description of 4th generation top of the line military equipment.  Note the listed dimensions: 1.6 lbs, 6"X3"X6".

I have to admit I hate it when reality intrudes to squash cool ideas.

Yer older bro is gonna sneak you out some Goverment Issue equipment, good luck in not gettin caught....cus the 1st thing thats gonna happen you and yer bro is when the FBI or the ATF is knockin on yer door step to arrest you and mark you and yer bro as a potential terrorist.

Why dont you jus save up and buy a pair, it'll save you the embarassment from the FEDS.

Words of Wisdom: Do not steal, the US Goverment hates competition!
