I wanted to get loctite for the 90* elbow gas fittings. What I wanted to know is What kind do I use for elbow gas fittings and where can I get loctite.

Dont use Loctite on any of the airline fittings, it wont give you a sealed seal around the threads, use teflon tape. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

I can't use teflon tape on a Timmy..well I can but its not reccomended. I don't have the owners manual right here infront of me but I think it said something like (do not use any teflon tape on gas fittings. pieces of teflon tape could break off and destory the solnoid.) -------------

Uh, loctite works just as well as teflon...I use it on my SS hose... Go for the weak stuff. You can get it at your proshop, Home Depot, ACE hardware, etc... |

Ok thanks that link helped alot. I did some searching and I found a few places that sell loctite. After reading that stuff from warpig I was thinking of how much I have to put on. Like it said to much can do more harm then good and to little won't help either. -------------
