impys are great guns

they can shoot pretty fast (almost as fast as a shocker) around 15-20 bps

I would probabily change 2 things to your gun set-up. get Vision and get a nitro tank

Vision is better for impys so that you *shouldnt* need a squeegie

nitro is better for the electro pneumatic markers b/c it keeps the velocity constant so you dont get penalty for "shooting hot"

I agree. Also there is alot of false BS floating around in here. There is no way to get a stock Impy to shoot that fast mainly because it is capped at 13 to 17 bps depending on whether or not you have eyes. Also the Impy is one of the worst speedball guns on the market right now. To begin with the Impy has no LPR. Second the solnoid is ghetto rigged. The lack of an LPR means the pressure coming into the Impy is to high and it will eventually to a complete solnoid blow out. The Impy has no adjustable trigger leaving the trigger either to stiff or to long. The guts of the Impy is made of Aluminum and over time it does severe scratching to the breech of the gun. Also the Aluminum guts are very uneffcient with gas. The Alunimum the Impy is made is is recycled Pepsi and Coke cans and it strips way to easily. The eyes of the Impy are junk and don't work half the time they're turned on. To start with the eye is made to detect the dropping motion of the ball. Second the eye is reflective and when using dark paint the eyes won't see the paint causing chopping. Last the Impy is so tall it would make the World Trade Center and Empire State Building jelous. For just about the same price you can get a B2k with PDS. The B2K comes with and adjusable LPR, Adjustable trigger, Better Reg, Better Eyes and better quality aluminum.

you can walk just about any gun with a double trigger... just wont be very fast...

and the only "bad" thing that can happen with a mag is short stroking it which only happens when you dont pull the trigger right.

The bushy is one of the worst speedball guns on the market right now. To begin with the Bushy has piece of junk LPR. Second the solnoid is ghetto rigged. The LPR is such junk that the pressure coming into the Bushy is to high and it will eventually to a complete solnoid blow out. The Bushy has an adjustable trigger but the set screws fall out all of the time and will eventually leave the trigger either to stiff or to long or it will fall out itself. The guts of the Bushy is made of swiss cheese Aluminum and over time it does severe scratching(<<<<like my superior use of verbage?) to the breech of the gun. Also the Aluminum guts are very uneffcient(lol.....new word there hee hee) with gas. The Alunimum the Bushy is made is is recycled Pepsi and Coke cans and it strips way to easily. Well if your name it the Terminator anyways. The eyes of the Bushy are junk and don't work half the time they're turned on. To start with the blind eyes they wouldn't even detect the dropping motion of the ball let alone the presence of it. Second the eye is crossbeam and when using any paint the eyes won't see the paint(the Bushy does come with a pair of sunglasses and cane though) causing chopping. Last the Bushy is so small it would make the World Trade Center(oh ya, that's not around any more is it?) and Empire State Building look like......um.....uh..... buildings(oh sry.....they are aren't they?). For just about the same price or less you can get an Imp with Vision. The Imp comes with and adjusable dwell, Adjustable regulator, Better barrel, Better regulator and better quality aluminum. And just face it........the babes go for the guys toting Imps that's why they call em 'Pimps with Imps'

Adding a "P" to an abreviated name for a paintball marker doesn't make someone a "Pimp". The max flow regulator has been proven to be outdated, and the metal smart parts is a poor quality metal to use in this application, that is a fact, want proof? ask doc over at docs machines.

Changing swapping impulses for bushmasters in someone elses incoherent post, when their points are mostly valid (My only problem is that I never understood the tall arguement, they are both relatively tall guns, and personally I am a rather tall guy so it is not really a help or a hinderance) does not validfy your arguement when you have no rebutal in defence of your gun. (sorry adjustable dwell, and regulator does not count for a rebutal, especially when the bushmaster has both along with just about every electronic gun in the same price range or above)

Also, what is your proof that one barrel is better than another? Give me some hard facts for once.

Wow Dragon that must have taken you along time to think of all that..except for the fact that everything I said is fact (as Fallout said and Doc at Doc machines will back up) do you have anyone like Doc, A pro gun smith who knows the in's and outs of every gun who can actually back up any of the BS you throw out. For the millionth time you still have yet to give any real facts to back up anything you say. You still have yet to give any proof to how the Impy is soo much better then the B2k and other electro guns. Maybe you should just give it up already and face the facts...the Impy is a POS.

Biased or is it the truth. From my exerience with the trashy Impy everything he said is 100% true. Like it or not the solnoid is ghetto rigged, the trigger is to long or to stiff and Smaret Farts can't make a good quality gun if thier life depended on it. I mean they take a complete rip off the B2k and they make a complete unreliable POS. The only thing that is biased is you because you can't face the facts that Impys are a POS. It does make him right becuase he has the knowledge and the facts to back up everything he says...you know nothing and have nothing to back up what you say except for a bunch of biased BS.

and what does that have to do with anything, i was refering to the fact that you could try walking even a spyder if you wanted to but it wouldnt be very fast.

and it doesnt matter how fast peoples fingers are now anyway since everyone wants the latest bouncing/ramping board out so they can say they shot 25 bps when their gun did it for them.

dragon predictability is something you want, in a paintball gun atleast, like i know my mag will always work, although i guess you dont know what predictability is since you own an impulse...

No thats not true Dragon. He can easily predict that his Impy will break down because its a POS. Dragon you are so biased its beyond funny. You have no facts to back up what you say so your only defense is to avoid question that will prove you wrong and to make fun of people in a sad sorry attempt to make yourself look good. You are the most biased, idiotic and retarted paintballer I have ever known. Did you get that second star for being unknowledgible retard or for just being a biased moron...you obviously have no idea what your talking about when it comes to paintball.

Fallout.........my personal Imp has had '0' hours downtime since I've gotten it so I don't need to predict a thing because it always shoots flawlessly. Predicting is pondering, I ponder not a thing about my Imp except where I'm going to get my next case of paint to throw through it lol. I can easily hit 17bps with no bounce or ramping the way I have everything set up. I suppose that's just good fortune though since I know nothing about paintball but I must fake it pretty well to keep you sweethearts in check so simplistically. Your Mag will always work, but slowly. They are somewhat a dinosaur now and not that popular at all. I'd even venture to say that Tippmanns and Spyders are more popular than Mags. In the 90's Mags and Cockers ruled but that was over 10 years ago and electro's are the top dogs now. I suppose you didn't predict that though did you hee hee? Cockers have reatianed their popularity much over Mags by far though. It's on a very rare occasion I see anyone shooting a Mag now days -

..........and to my honey bun Scarbrain.....um.....face.......I believe I may have this second star because somewhere down the line someone may have had a small smudge of sympathy for this noob that knows nothing at all about paintball. Another thing that may have had something to do with it is I can spell and use verbiage proficiently. If this is the case, you can expect to sit through eternity with that one little star of yours because it seems your little pea medulla cannot retain any sort of intellect, originality or integrity. I know after reading that you have no idea of what I just typed but you will take offense to it just the same since it came from me and rightly so. Hopefully your instincts suit you much better than your lack of scholastic presence here or you can write yourself off as the total failure/loser you seem to project yourself to be here. Have a nice day honey buns -

really my mag cant keep up.

the mag is a well designed system, thats why its been around since the 90's yet still compete with guns that have been out for less than a year let alone impulses that have been around for how long? 4 years?

predicting something and predictability while having the same root word, predicting is making an educated guess on whats going to happen (hopefully educated) where as predictability in something means you know what will happen every time you use it (the scientific word for this if i recall is precision, getting the same result every time, doesnt have to be the correct result, thats accuracy, but getting the same result every time you do something). with my mag and now my emag every time i gas up that gun i get the same thing, the gas line pressurizes i push the valve open and load up whatever loader im using that day and im ready to play, and ill be playing the whole day, every day.

that being said i used to own an impulse, it never worked right since the day i got it, first day i went out to play with it after 2 shots a ball wouldnt even make it all the way out the barrel anymore, when i got that fixed (also note this is a RAT impulse so they are set up to the optimal everything from their store) i tried using it again and even though i could shoot more than 2 times a second, every time i tried to it would chop, then i got a HALO A for it since that was the best loader at the time and now i could get up to 5 shots before it would chop, isnt that astounding seeing as how i can shoot my emag or my mag before i sold it as fast as i could with a gravity feed and never break a ball let alone chop one. eventually i traded it for a gz timmy which i needed to put tooth picks into the grip frame for it to work and it still worked better than that impulse.

and im not the only one whos had problems, 5 other people at my field had impulses, none of them have impulses anymore. for example 2 kids that i knew, one had a nasty impulse with vision, the other had a stock impulse which later got vision. the kid with the nasty impulse would play without chopping only because his vision hardly ever saw any paint so it shot just as fast as my impulse did, he got so fed up with the gun he sold it and stopped playing paintball. the other kid started having problems with chopping so he got vision, and ran into the same problem, so he sells his impulse and buys one of those new shockers, same garbage kept happeneing with a more expensive gun, now he owns an angel a4 or speed or something like that and he loves it.

in the past i would have told you that it was great that your impulse worked and that you should tell people that, but that i have only had bad experiences with all of the smart parts products i own, and im gunna damn well make sure they know that side of it too and to just leave it at that, but your arguements have gotten so pathetic since the last month (i havent seen you say anything factual about the impulse yet, all i have ever seen is you trying to make other guns worse with random bs so they are on the same level as yours, or get into semantics and grammar debates)

You have seen me state the facts in the past through the continual 5&6 page threads that I was involved in here. Unlike some other members here I find typing the same thing over and over strikes me as being a bit mundane if you will. AMOF I continually state that I'm doing this for my own entertainment and just messing with you guys but you still don't seem to get it and fall into the 'DRAGON's pit' every time. How can I resist such simple prey?

You say that I continually make negative comments about other markers which is a false statement because I haven't done that until just recently, intentionally just to let you guys know how it feels to throw possibly unjust disrespect towards your choice in markers. You predictably react to the statements just as I had planned you would.

I'll be in all of these threads where I see people throwing biased trash towards SP because of an internal sick need. If you guys genuinely did have these so-called habitual concerns with an Imp, I cannot understand how it would be so. It's beyond my comprehension how anybody wouldn't be able to understand and resolve any concerns due to it's simplistic functional design. What it tells me about you guys is that you have a little less grey matter than some of us and must take it to someone else to resolve a simple concern such as not knowing that your dwell was too low, or forgot to turn the eye on for example because you omitted to read the manual. The real kicker is selling it and getting something else that you know even less about in it's place. Maybe a marker such as a Phantom would be more appropriate for such a breed since it has a bare minimum of parts to deal with.

I also know that these attacks on SP are due to SP suing other companies because of the patent thing. Funny how the many horror stories predicted by these flaming sheep never came true. No price hikes, no end of paintball, no horrendous changing of paintball as we knew it, just business as usual. You can throw silly cliche's such as swiss cheese and empire state building into your text to try to sensationalize your plight but never see the changes you wanted to happen because you were led astray by people such as Doc the great airsmith and anyone else that started the 'HATE SP' bandwagon. I see it in your text and see it in your sigs.

All I know is I'm just having a bit of fun with you eggheads and you still continue to try to outfox a never ending discussion because whenever one of these threads ends, nothing is ever resolved. I will set things straight that Imps are pIMP as I have never had a prob with mine at all and can't ever see having a prob with it since it has run flawlessly for me in the past 2.5 years that I've owned it. You fella's on the other hand seem to have a lack of comprehension skills if you had so many probs with yours. That was the fault of your parents, not Smart Parts -
