Heres my 98 custom with new Flatline, Bt sight rail, and 68/3000.
im starting to get into scenario games, and i play nothing else but woodsball. what do you think? should i paint it? |

I'd say, paint it black, ditch the Sight Rail, and get rid of the viewload Quantum and get a Revy. -------------

| the sightrail is mainly for looks. its pretty much useless, but give it a milsim look. the hopper is a Halo TSA which i am very satisfied with. i may take off the tiggerstripe cover so its just black. i would take of the x-chamber, but i cant find a good mag kit to replace it. know any sites? opsgear has no 98 mags, neither does engler. |

i think you should also replace that steel braided line wit macro so that way you can cut it to a real short length n stead of loopin it round like that, makes it look weird when u do that. -------------

| i had macro, but i failed on me and ruined my day. so i dont think ill use it again. if i get a mag kit i can turn that fitting around, send the line strait upwards, and use shorter steel braided. |

lightly sand it, put a bonding primer, paint it, then bake it (everything removed of course) at 215 degree F, for 10 minutes. that will bake out any leftover non-paint elements and give you a super hard finish that should last a long time. just painting will end up being a maintenance coating.

i copied and pasted your link. the site came up and everything, but its all blank and the only thing there is "Results: <- 1 2 3 ->" when i click each one it takes me to a blank scree. its also blank when i click "98 Mag Kits". i guess i can try making my own from a cheap ar-15 mag. what kind of paint should i use? im thinking flat or semi-gloss black rustolium.

Theres a reason why it didnt come up, they discontinued it and because it made any 98c look like a toy from Toys R Us...go here http://www.englerpaintballguns.com/engler.htm - http://www.englerpaintballguns.com/engler.htm scroll half way down and you'll see it, Englers' 98c mag kit is way better than Opsgear's cheesy mag kit. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

| meh, i had macro line, but it leaked and my fittings were screwed soon after. so i never bought new fittings. you cant go wrong with ss line. later or perhaps this month, i will paint it black and make or buy a fake mag. thanks for your opinions. |
