I was wondering what type of tank do you need to use a regulatorright now I have a Crossfire 70/45 HPA tank will that work?

the Crossfire tank already has a regulator on it. The output pressure should be 800psi if it's a high pressure output tank (which I'm sure it is). If your A-5 runs off CO2 perfectly fine, then a regulator isn't a necessity. CO2 usually outputs between 800 and 1200 psi, if i remember correctly. Another regulator on your gun would be useful only if you wanted to tune your gun's input pressure to be lower.

You can slightly drop the psi by polishing the internals and getting a stronger drive spring, which would be the only reason to get another regulator.

A reg works with HPA, and any tank that holds HPA or Nitro will work.

You can get "regs" for CO2, and those are the Palmer Stabilizer and Bob Long Torpedo.
