Subject: Air brush paint schemes, need advise

Just to abide by the #1 rule, here's a pic of my A5, although I'm still waiting for two parts to ship to me.  The thing I want you all to see is my paint job on my mask.  This is how I figured I'd paint the gun, unless I see something better to duplicate.  For all of those who airbrushed their guns, I would like to the the paint scheme on their guns. If I like it, I may use it instead of my planned scheme. Any help would be appreciated

This pic is a little blurred, but it shows off my little devil horns.

Not bad, seeing as this is the 2nd or 3rd thing I ever air brushed.  Now let's see some guns!!

You should paint it like 4 diffrent shades of pink in a fade with light in the front to dark in the back instead of dark in the front and light in the back.

Cottage Commando, just so you know it would cost you atleast $150 bucks for the necessary equiptment for air brushing, and that's for the cheaper crap i use.

Is this all of the cammo guns that we can muster? Guess I'll just need to experiment some then.  Thanks guys.

Oh, and fast splat, how'd you know pink was my favorite color?

It all goes into what your looking for.  There are high and low end of products.  For what I want to do, I got a fairly good mid range set, like my A-5. I use it for more than just my gun and mask, so I got what I needed:

$90 air brush(dual action internal mix) + $99 air compressor + paints and materials to paint on= serious "cake"

...and that compressor is junk, but the only other ones I could find that I want are twice as expensive.

Though I am curious, did your set use an air compressor?

My set doesnt run on compressed air, it runs on co2, but it can run on compressed air the reason being I jus refuse to spend that much fer a compressor when co2 is alot cheaper....lets say $10 a can.

yeah, it's may be cheaper, as long as you never buy an eleventh can.

Ive only used 2 cans to complete the paintjob and at least 8 bottles of Tamiya acrylic model paint.
