I am planning on selling my gun. And E-Bay is a possibility. I want to know, has anyone gotten scammed on here? Thanks for the help.

If you havn't sold anything yet, your feedback is going to be 0.  And people are less likely to buy anything from someone without any feedback.

But no, I havn't been scammed.

The seller has most of the controll. Me as a buyer I worry that if I send a payment, I might get a broken item, or none at all.

iv never gotten what wasnt in the description. you just have to read the fine print, check feedback, and have common sense. if your selling just dont make any lies, write good true descriptions, and be promt on shipping to keep your feedback good.

I've almost gotton scamed, they sent an empty box. I got paypal, so they paid for it. Needless to say that the seller was cussing at me and threated to sue. But whatever, like someone said you cant get screwed if your a seller, just say MO or paypal, if its mo be sure to cash it first, because ive herd of fake MO's.

Buying on Ebay requires you to do a reality check on the seller.

Selling on Ebay is harmless, since you don't ship until you get paid.  But, as pointed out, you won't get many as bids with no feedback.

the seller has no worries... just dont send your merchandise until u receive payment.

but like some have said before, you're feedback score will be ZERO. that means that potential buyers are less likely to trust u, and u wont get as high a price as somebody with a lot of experience and a good feedback score.

my mom got scammed once. the buyer didnt have any personal contact information. it was all his work info, and it got really confusing. i think she lost like $50. not too bad for a learning experience...

e-bay is very trustworthy, just not always the buyers and sellers. Scams exist and can't be avoided.

I just finished packaging up something I sold on e-bay, and I've purchased quite a few things off of e-bay without a hitch. Good as it will ever be is what I say.
