yeah, like the title says, my roommate just got a cobalt blue spyder xtra. pretty nice gun, really light, dont know how it shoots yet but regardless im gonna light him up with my tippy the first time we go out and play. muahahahaha! >:D -------------

hahaha yeah im probably already about to get one or 2 of those strikes. i hope he doesnt kick me out of this forum or anything... anyways, i have a rather wierd question about the feedneck on my tippmann. the stock feedneck on my gun (same as any other tippmann) was replaced with a diagonal feedneck (just like on older spyders, goes diagonal across the top of the gun putting the hopper on the left side of the gun and requires an elbow). is there some sort of advantage in this setup or something? or do you think i should just put the stock feedneck back on? thanx guys who arent going to be rude about a simple question. -------------

hmmm....so your roommate just got a spyder? so what? whats the big deal? a spyder is just as good as a tippmann ( actually i consider them better ), they are faster, better looking and dont weight like 10 lb. Only bad thing about them is that there frames are very poor quality and break easily....

Cenok, sounds like you have a Lapco powerfeed, or something like it. Some guys just like it better than the stock feedneck, thats all. I think it may be supposed to feed faster, but unless you are hardcore tournament, I don't think it matters much.
