My goal was to personalize the marker but keep it simple... Recreational play only - non-tournament speedball / airball and woodsball.

That's sweet. Mostly because it's just like mine. About the only difference is the grips, hopper, and my centerfeed came from KP Customs.

Thanks.
Yes, the Full Boar Shadow has a velocity adjuster...
I've got a Toxic Performance double trigger kit, but I'm not crazy about how it feels. Plus, it needs modded to work with my RT. If I didn't have the RT I'd be more concerned about it. With the RT a double won't increase my ROF anyway...
I'd like to go HPA as well, but don't have wife approval to drop $200 on the Crossfire I want...
Otherwise, I think I'm about done. I've got far more cash in upgrades (both on and off the marker) than I do in the marker itself. :-(

The Full Boar Shadow (cap on the back of the marker) is a rear-cocking mechanism and includes a RVA.
Once you cock the marker and push the cap back on, nothing external moves when you fire.

im not flaming you here but you say you went for personalization and originality, its not too original. i saw one with the same mill job and dye grips a few months ago on here that was on sale for ebay with a bad bead blast job then another on pbnation with the same milling, grips, loader, cocking knob/ rva, stabilizer, and centerfeed. the only differences on that 98c were that the cap over the normal cocking slot looked like it was never there, the drop was different, they were using hpa, and they had an ebolt.
its a very nice gun and all, im just saying ive seen quit a few of them that look like that. even still, 9/10 for looks. i love the dye grips on the powder coat, it contrasts it nicely.

I'm not offended - it's all good. The first post never actually mentioned anything about originality:
My goal was to personalize the marker but keep it simple... Recreational play only - non-tournament speedball / airball and woodsball.
To be honest, I'll be the first to admit that I spent quite a bit of time on numerous forums reading about upgrades and mods available for my 98C. I chose things that were within my price range that I thought helped both functionally and aesthetically. I tried my hardest to not blatantly copy something I saw, but I did use bits and pieces of the things I liked on my marker - that's what makes it special to me...

I'm sure there are many Model 98's and 98 Customs that look very similar if not the same... Regardless, thanks for the compliment.

Guys, why are you so concerned about how "personalized" his gun is...how is supose to know that somebody else has the same ups as he does....common give him a break!

Personalized doesnt equal "Unique" .
Most of the markers shown in this forum have had things done to them , to make them more appealing to their owner , either through Form , Function or both . Thats "Personalization" , what makes a marker most suitable , and pleasing to its Owner

i understand completely and i DO love the gun, if i had a 98 i would do a setup alot like this one just cause it looks quite sexy. as for originality, i misunderstood since i didnt look at the text in the orginal post while i was commenting since i already read it. im not lookign to give you any crap at all, im just stating what i notice. so to sum this up, im revoking my originality comment, and im putting full emphasis on how great i think the gun is. i wasnt tryign to sound like an ,although when rereading my post i sound like i am. and to correct my use of words, i wasnt saying you had a bad bead blast job, the other gun i saw had a bad one. errr, the internet should really be better at showing emotions, i sounded like a real .

I'd LOVE to do that, but for my setup, the cost isn't just the tank. I really like the on/off on my CO2, so I'd end up getting a drop, an ASA with on/off, macroline and fittings, and the HPA tank... PLUS, I've got the wife factor to deal with. :-)
I'd probably end up getting a new high-pressure spring set for my Palmer's Male as well. Somewhere I read that a Stabilizer broken in with CO2 isn't as consistent when moved to HPA.
At any rate, HPA is definitely something I'd like to do... Time to start saving the pennies...

The Reloader is just as good as the revy. mayb even a little better. If u have an RT the reloader is the perfect hopper. if ur a back and u turn ur RT up more then get the egg.
