What size engine under the hood? I have a '71 Ford-100, rebuilt 302ci engine under the hood. Runs fairly well, but need to change the oil here soon. Probably do it this weekend.
Edit- To be honest, I wouldn't look into a vehicle with: 1. 4-wheel drive: you will be tempted to do stupid things 2. Old cars: money pits that may or may not run 3. Trucks: again, money pits and if you 4-wheel, busted axels and CB joints. |

I would take an old stang, but for the price of one in good condition like you say, id get something newer. Or atleast do a few things to the 66' and sell it for more. Up here if you dont have 4 wheel you suck. You wont be leaving your house all winter. Getting a nice first car is great and all, but usually not the best thing to do. |

Because they think all young drivers are bad drivers. Inexperienced, yes, bad, not always.
As for you getting a chumpstang, I would say no for 4 reasons.

Because when you are sixteen years old, you have no idea how to drive yet, then go out and get something like a sixties Mustang. A lot of horsepower and bad handling, which of course, kids will run harder than they should to impress the friends, etc. |

I like the IS300, because it is a very light car, it is very easy to modify, its a lexus, and it looks pretty damn sweet. I woudln't keep it stock if I got it. My bro would help me install new stuff on the car, and possibly help me get it sponsored (he works for a racing magazine). He has a G35 and his company has payed for everything added on to it because it was featured in one of the magazines. -------------

 Goes slow as hell, Never warms up... One door wont open, One window is hard to roll down.. But, I can tow around 8 friends, Tons of gear, Cops dont even notice me, Insurence is cheap as hell, its does great reverse 360's and 180's, and its does'nt matter if I wreck it. ------------- |

I remember being 14 and 15 and thinking about a car. "Man, I'm gonna get a corvette and mod it and everything!!!". Then reality sets in and your glad just to have a car. I had a 91 carolla, now, I've got a 96 GMC Sierra(Which I'm more than happy with). -------------
