I have a CMI True Flute 16" barrel.  Do you think i need to upgrade to a more profesional barrel?  I play woodsball, usually play less than 5 on 5.  I play slow paced games.  Please conside i am not a paintball freak or ubsessed with the game like most of you are.

wrong forum.....New player forum is where you wanna go.

I would say get a Bigshot or JJ ceramic, though.

Yeah, Bigshot or JJ Ceramic is the best choice for the price and accuracy.

Actually this should be in Upgrades and Customizing since hes asking on a upgrade.

As to the barrel question, these is no such thing as a professional barrel, unless yer asking bout those barrel kits that come in 2 to 8 barrel inserts and those are not only jus fer Pro Players, anyone can get them.

Lapco Big Shot

J&J Ceramic

All American

DYE Ultralight or Excel

etc.

i like the J&J and the Bigshot i've never used a boomstick but its sposed to be a great barrel.but for woodsball, theres no better barrel than the Flatline,as long as you install it and shoot it right, and use high quality, small bore paint.

who cares if hes not obsessed with it. if he wants a new barrel, which he should get, then he wants a barrel and theres nothing you can do about it. why cant you just answer his question or make a suggestion???  any way, i think the flatline is the best woodsball barrel you will see on the market today.

i herd that the boomstick weighed like 20 pounds and makews aiming hard, dont take my word for it tho, good luck looking for a barrel

i also heard that dye excels are good and cheap,

if ur like most woodsball players u want to be sneaky and shoot someone from far away i would say a flatline with a red dot scope

my boomstick does wieght more than must barrels ive seen but my 16in balances with my gun great. but i just ordered a remote line so that could change. i may have to get a stock to rebalance it out. we will just have to wait and see.

I have the same one you have... I really believe it's one of the best barrels out there, the rifling is far superior to the rifling on a Armson.  It's really cranks my accuracy.  I might stay with this barrel, but if I was too get another barrel I'd get a Big Shot.  Just take your velocity and calm it down a bit and compress your spring.  You'll be amazed.

This comes from someone who has actually used the barrel.  Just keep it.

I'll see you before you see me.
