I'm in the process of getting a new barrel for my A-5..I'm leaning towards the Tippmann Werks b/c I've heard nothing but good things about it. But what about the empire twister? What do you guys suggest for my A-5 and in what lengh?

I haven't heard anything about the tippmann or empire but I have the smart parts progressive 14" and it's great! Very accurate (until your paint has goo on it or there is paint in the barrel)

get a lapco bigshot 14" or a flatline. if you dont want eathier of those ive also heard that the werks are pretty sick

no, these people no nothing about tippmann barrels.  DO NOT BUY ANY TIPPMANN BARRELS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FLATLINE.  they are horrible.  there much much much better and more accurate barrels.  the best bang for your buck for a p[aintball barrel is the lapco bigshot, very good accuracy about 50 bucks.

With the exception of the A-5 Flatline*

And ive got a twister and a J&J, the twister is a better barrel than the ceramic, id say go for that and get a 14"

j&j ceramic 14" cheaper than the lapco and just as good
