Welcome to the Forums!

Your response trigger is fully adjustable. The sliver knob on the right hand side of your marker has a tiny screw that allows you to adjust the response settings. The velocity adjustment would have nothing to do with the speed of your response trigger.

The feed neck on the 98 custom is adjustable. Thre is a allen headed screw that adjusts how tight you want your feed neck to be.
