an rt will preform like full auto, but it technicaly isnt. when you normaly pull the trigger, you have to release it to fire again. but with the rt, a piston quickly knocks the trigger forward, reseting it without you noticeing. it happens so fast you just hold down the trigger like full auto.

getting an r/t wont make him stop beating you... you're going to have to practice.

ok since all yur questions have been answered, except for one, no it doesnt make a lighter trigger pull, it is actually the hardest trigger pull in paintball i think. but it doesnt need to be light because you dont fire individual shots.

(triggerhappy1)   wait...since the trig reverts to its position
because of the piston, how fast do you shoot if you keep your
finger on the trig?

u can make the trigger pull much ligth by taking out the return spring. since the r/t returns the trigger for u, u dont need the return spring

Actually that wouldnt really help any, your still pushing aginst the piston. Thats where all the pressure aginst the trigger is coming from.

the piston quickly resets the trigger which is so fast, its hard to notice. but it all requires the right pressure, and air flow. you can get anywhere between 6bps-16bps, even 22bps with the correct mods.

Yea I think the fastest I've ever seen was 22bps.

Now don't get me wrong the R/T rips(its great seeing your friends dive for the ground at the sound of it), but most of the time I have mine tuned down so it doesnt go "full auto". Why? Because when you're shooting that many balls in a second you can almost count "$1, $2, $3, $4" while shooting with all the money your spending on paint.

I'm 99% positve it requires a new power tube (comes with the r/t), but totally disassembling the valve I don't think is necessary. I've read and heard that disassembling the valve isn't recommended... My understanding is that you just need to put the valve in the powertube you get with the r/t. Can anyone confirm this?

oooo, so the valve stays together even when takin out to power tube?????????
