just thought of this one.

in a Tippmann 98c, if you take out your trigger spring, you need to push the trigger forward to fire the next shot. but if you have the rt and no trigger spring, theres very little pull. only the pull to release the sear which is short. so if you were to take out the spring with an rt, your pull would be very short, but the weight would still be somewhat heavy. so if you can walk the trigger hard, you could probaly walk it. just something i thought of. think it would work? id do it if i had a double trigger.

Well, get the double trigger and do exactly what you stated, then come back and tell us the results.

The RT doesnt function as much as pushing the trigger back out, as it does acting like an air cushion, keeping the trigger in the sweet spot, right at the firing point.

If youve ever used an RT youll know that the pull is actually stiff, but the fact that it keeps the trigger right at that spot to fire, it gives you the faster firing rate.

i tried it with a single trigger today, as well as the anti-chop bolt. since the sear spring is so heavy, you still have to give it that full 3lbs, the trigger spring weight is nothing. but it does shorten your pull a lot.

Interesting idea, I'll give you that. I agree that you should go test it and see how it works. It won't hurt anything to have that trigger spring missing. It's not even really needed anyway.
